"This isn't Getting Crap Past The Radar, this is crashing the crap through the front doors and out the back doors of the radar installation in an armored car with sunglasses-wearing flaming skull decals on every flat surface and a Hieronymus Bosch reproduction on the door, hoodmounted machine guns blazing, Motörhead blasting on the jury-rigged PA system, and one arm hanging out of the window making a rude hand gesture, and the tires leaving sex and violence tracks on the floor and walls." -tvtropes

Aiern "Neon" Thedd

AiernThedd

Name: Aiern "Neon" Thedd

Gender: Male

Age: 26

Trainer Biography: Aiern was born in the large bustling tourist town of Cynor to a large family of Pokémon breeders. He was the odd one out at a young age, always interested in the more artistic side of Pokémon. At the age of five, he got hold of his older sister's bag of berries, and smudged a handful of them over the fur of his uncle's prized Persian. When the older man found his beloved cat Pokémon, he found a messy handed toddler, giggling over his newest masterpiece. Despite the stern talking-to given to him by his mother and father, the boy continued his feats of color, always picking the brighter, more outgoing colors to 'compliment' the Pokémon with.

However, as Aiern grew, his artistic talent grew with him, as did his love for colorful Pokémon. By age ten he had managed to locate all the hidden stores of berries his family had devised to keep him from 'ruining' their beautiful Pokémon. So thus his reign of terror continued, until the whole of the town had learned of the infamous "Neon" Thedd.

Age fifteen brought him some sort of relief, for by this time he'd learned to pick out the Pokémon of the tourists, and their reactions were those of awe and great humor over what he had done to their companions. Some even tipped him for such efforts, even though all this money went towards the berries he used for his work. However, one gift wasn't with monetary value- this one didn't go to his berries, or his family, or anywhere except with him. He considered the gift his birthday present, for the week he received it was the week he had become a true adult.

This gift was none other than a young Growlithe, probably recently hatched, and none-to-friendly at that. But that didn't matter to Aiern- she was his. His family, although they had an abundance of rare and unusual Pokémon, had very few of their own, most were sold off to collectors, so they had never found it in their hearts to give the boy one of his own. So much happened in a short period of time.

He was an adult now, and by the social standards, expected to stop acting out so 'immaturely' as his family had put it many times before. Aiern was also expected to find some way to support himself, his family, and their business, and this was quite a problem for the man known to most only as "Neon". See, no one wanted to hire such a man who was known renown for his spontaneity and his magnificent ability to find loopholes in the rules and regulations set out for him.

The man tried for years to sell his talent as an artist, and during this time, his Growlithe companion grew quite different from when she first became his. Now the tables had flipped- he was hers, and no one else could have him. She made this known, constantly, by snarling and lunging at anyone, male, female, human, or Pokémon, who got too near to 'her' Neon. The Growlithe, named Moriz after much debate, became the equivalent of a possessive girlfriend, never letting Aiern out of her sight, and busting through any enclosure made to keep her from doing such.

Many a man and woman was scorched from the puppy Pokémon's 'love' of Aiern, and this lowered his potential clients more than any of his behavioral problems may have. When the man turned twenty-five years old, it was decided that it was in his, and his family's, best interest for him to leave the town and to travel elsewhere in search of a job, or an adventure that wouldn't mind a harsh blast from Moriz.

Personality: Aiern has always had a problem with authority. You tell him 'no', and all he hears is 'not exactly like that, but some other way'. You lay down a strict set of rules, such as 'Do not be late', and he reads 'Do not be later than you must'. The man doesn't mince words either- you ask for his opinion on something, and you will get his opinion, no fuzzy pillows attached to soften the blow. Tact is not his finest quality, to say the least, and he tends to speak before he thinks, even if what he says is hypocritical and harsh. Despite this, he has a soft spot for colorful objects, be it clothing, people, or Pokémon. [[For the record, I hate having to define personality. D; So his personality will probably change a lot from this.]]
