"Strong Pokemon, weak Pokemon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers win with their favorites" - Karen, E4

![]() Lia First Impressions: "Are you sure this is safe?" Personality: Friendly, independent, tough, shamelessly flirtatious. Overview: Lia's Pokemon are fully trained to operate autonomously. They also tend to hit fast and hard, which complicates the potential issues of losing focus. Lia keeps up a running banter for much of any match, enjoying the position to its fullest. She isn't especially attached to Orepathe, being a Cynor girl at heart, but her skill leaves her as Orepathe's finest. She's also open on most Friday nights. Gym: Completely open air arena to west of the town, in the mountains. The arena proper is filled with rock spires and boulders, severely limiting long-range visibility across the arena. The trainer and Lia stand at opposite ends on raised ledges, though if the trainer opts for the spar, they can battle anywhere in the arena proper or around the ledges - safety not guaranteed. The arena is located fairly far up the mountain, so wind can be a factor in both the spar and the actual match. Format: 3v2, trainer vs. Lia's Pokemon. The trainer can opt to spar with Lia mid-match for an extra 50% of monetary rewards and one extra item IF they hold their own, but at the cost of being too occupied to consistently issue complicated commands for the battle. +4/+6 variance. Her Pokemon tend to be offensively oriented, sometimes to the detriment of defense; her Pokemon generally fall within the Steel, Dragon, Ground, Fighting, Fire, and Flying types. Rewards: T3: $6000, three of the following: T2: $3000, two of the following: T1: $1000, one of the following: Vs Seeker, Black Belt, Charcoal, Dragon Fang, Focus Band, Life Orb, Muscle Band, Shell Bell, Soft Sand, Yellow Scarf, Protein (counts as two items), Rare Candy x2, Dragon Scale |
