Posts: 7 Group: Arbiter Member #579 Joined: Aug 2, 2009 Proficiency CP Boost	OOC: This is a ten-day mission. No more, no less. In character, it should amount to less than six hours. And I still have a few trumps up my sleeves for surprises. Xavier stood in front of the library, scanners at the ready in his briefcase, waiting for the other operatives. They were already a minute late. And one minute spent waiting around was a minute not spent pursuing their goals. In short, a minute wasted. He did not enjoy wasting time, and his stiff body language proved it as he pushed his glasses up to the bridge of his nose with his gloved hand. The library loomed behind him and for a moment it could have looked like he owned the place. It certainly was not an outrageous setting for him, nor was it by any means an uncomfortable one. Silence, and attention to detail. These were virtues to him, virtues he respected greatly.

Maybe Caroline should have gone instead; at least she wore shoes that had backs to them. Ah, well. Nothing could be done about that now. And Doctor S. had been so excited when her outfit had arrived safely in the mail. It was a good thing Willow had left most of his outfits back on the mainland to be shipped later via a legit, unaffiliated posting service; kimono were expensive. She spotted Xavier outside the library, and slowed to a stop a few feet away from him, panting as if she was trying to catch her breath. "I apologise for my tardiness," she said, bowing a little. "I took a wrong turn on 2nd Street." She wrung her hands idly. It wasn't that she was nervous about being told off, no; it was merely that Willow never felt quite comfortable in public without some manner of gloves on, and he had never been able to justify to himself an "in-character" reason for Doctor S., who preferred traditional dress, to wear them. "Will there be others joining us today?"
