Ya know, considering the other cities here in Althea, Orepath isn't that bad. Its got a very strange architecture style: large podunk meets shiny and modern. The city is rather serene, well the outer parts of the city that are thinner then the main part of the city, the main mine bustling with activity.

Unlike most mining cities there are actually generally hospitable, Southern Hospitality if you will, though don't make a mistake and assume everyone was a nice gentleman. In fact, most of the miners here were of a very brusque nature and they frowned upon Torby's childish good looks and if some of them saw your god-f**king-awesome pokemon and their overall cuteness they may just get pushed over the edge and attempt to kill you quietly in the mine well maybe thats not all they'll do.

Apart from the slight danger from sexually frustrated miners (at the very least) there were quite a large number of tourists and oh so many tourist clichés: the fat guy in a Hawaiian shirt and really disgustingly small shorts slaughtering some sort of junk food; the extraordinarily hot blond who was so out of her comfort zone being in Iraq would be easier then spending anymore of her precious spring-break here, a scowl on her face and all her other clones that sprinkled all the crowd; several lame parent-teacher types with their tourist guide-books and cameras and binoculars; generally most things related to suck and vacations.

However, from the crowd a squealing sound that could only be described as Minny Mouse on helium but that doesn't do it justice. A small small girl, not young though, detached herself from the crowd and whoever she was previously with. She was around 4'7'' with feathered blond-and-brown hair that ended around her shoulders with a messenger bag around said shoulder. She had some band related t-shirt and some cotton blue-and-green hot pants. She had some decorative bracelets around her wrists that clinked together as she walked towards you. However her eyes were wide in utter joy and surprise and in her hand was something vaguely familiar, some sort of magazine. Wait, that cover looked very familiar . . . OSHI-

It was the cover of Spurt and as the girl got right in your face you could tell by the cover that it was dated around a year ago and it looked worn, like something someone takes everywhere, and eats on it and sleeps on it and goes to the bathroom on it and photocopies and laminates certain pages to take in the shower with. The girl stood in front of you utterly speechless until the dam broke:

"Ohmigodohmigodohmigodohmigodohmigodohmigod, YOU'RE TORBY RYONAMI! IKNEWIregconizedyoufromthecrowdbutmyfriendswerelike"uhuh"soIcameovertoPROVEthemwrong. OMG, pleasesignmycopyofthisohmigodplease? ItakeitEVERYWHERE" It was like a tidal wave of half coherent words. She was a bit freaky, thank god her friends didn't come with her, yet anyway.

Really, now?

"You...must be joking!" Torby Ryonami cast a eyebrow raised, serious glare on his Mudkip. Hands on his hips, the boy was definitely serious as it circled around one of his pokemon. Torby simply could not bring himself to actually believe what his Mudkip had just told him. Nay, he refused to believe such blasphemy- it simply could not be possible. The boy gave a more pronounced frown, leaning over the mudfish and then straightening up. The Mudkip gave a gulp, settled down on its hindquarters, barely moving as his trainer began to pace around it- Seisui already knew that Torby meant serious business, especially when he began the whole pouting and scolding routine. The pokemon gave a sigh and glanced over to the left, where his companions, Ianthe and Tokigou, the two of the other three that Torby had claimed desirable enough to be in his presence. Seisui was the slowest to get with Torby's program, aside from Treecko, but that wasn't even saying much... This wasn't the first time it was getting scolded while the other two stood by.

"Mudkip..." Seisui sighed dejectedly. It loved its trainer, really it did, but times like this...

"How can you possibly -not- know Water Gun?!" Torby shouted, finally stopping in front of his other pair, glaring down. "I mean, I could understand if you were a hopeless loser, but... darn it, we learned Ice Beam together! You're supposed to be able to spit water."

Seisui looked up hopefully. So it wasn't benig blamed for incompetence? It smiled hesistantly, and Torby simply rolled his eyes. The feeling was there, though, and all four who were there were intimately familar with one another to see what had happened- Torby had recognized limitations in power, and didn't blame the pokemon. As for himself, well, it was never his fault anyways...

Ianthe gave a giggle, and the Chikorita was only silenced by a look from her trainer. She gave a huff, however, making it clear that she wasn't going to be pushed around so easily. 'She's a handful, full of herself too...' Torby thought. It was true, Ianthe was highly tempermental, but there was always a way for him to win her over.

"You're lucky your so damn pretty, Ianthe, otherwise I wouldn't put up with that prima donna attitude of yours, ya little ska-" Torby got no further as Ianthe rushed up and threw herself into his arms, nestling against his chest. Yup, Ianthe was a complete whore for compliments- she had the same attitude as Torby in that regard, so it was a nice mix. And she wasn't always a psychotic prideful bitch, so...all goods.

"Training time, guys!"

All three of his pokemon gave him a shocked expression. They just got into town! Where the hell was he coming from?!

"Yeah...you heard me... I... kinda gotta see you attacks again..." Torby looked always, placing his arms behind his head nonchalantly. He didn't look at them, rather, the sky avoiding their eyes. The smallest tinge of red covered his cheeks. "See...I kinda forgot what they all...did..."

All three pokemon, settling on the ground, glanced at one another, sharing a collective thought.

'...Dumb fuck...'

"Ready, guys?!"

Who cared if they were in the middle of a bustling city? When Torby put his mind to something, nothing as small as local surroundings was going to get in his way. He had decided to move on closer to the mountains, near the mine openings, however, as a precaution. Of course, he was getting some strange looks from the miners- Damn the jailbait appeal- but an audience, however homely, sweaty and unattractive, was still an audience, and the show always must be spectacular. There was a crowd of annoyingly obvious tourist nearby as well, so if he could attract their attention, it'd be a bonus. But the main thing-

"We're gonna polish those attacks of yours, okay, guys?" Torby said, standing amongst his pokemon. The trio nodded in unison- it had been a while since they had done anything, but everything Torby had taught them was committed to memory either way. They were ready to deliver.

"You first, Seisui!" At the command, the Mudkip braced itself on its hind legs, veering back and ready to follow whatever Torby had in mind.

"Tackle attack, now!" Seisui shot off like a dart, dashing forward. 'That's right... they all have a unique Tackle to access... torby recalled. "Now, leap and slide!"

Seisui took off with its trajectory and leapt into the air, continuing to sail forward. A flick of its tail and twist of its body and the pokemon was spinning like a frisbee into a blue blur. "Keep going!" Torby spread his arms, resting down one one knee, and tilted back. The Mudkips leap sent it spiraling on Torby's left arm, and the rotation sent it rolling across his arms and chest. Just as it reached the other arm, Torby gave a heaving flick and-

"Touchdown, and Mud Slap!" Seisui hit the ground, still spinning, and, much like a hockey stick, it struck the ground. The earth rose up in a small wave of mud, flinging forward in a carefully executed arc, sailing into the air and splashing down around the pokemon."Keep it up!" Seisui obeyed, using its slimy body to continue spinning on the ground, sending mud flying up in small, pulsating waves.

"Very cool, very cool..." Torby decided. "not something we should depend on but its always nice to not have to rely on ice solely- Tokigou, Agility!"

It was the Eevee turn to show its stuff, and the pokemon ran forward, taking an arc of direction. "Jump, and somersault!" A few bounces off the ground, gaining more air each time, and Tokigou finally found itself in front of Torby. It knew this routine, and and it took a somersaulting leap toward Torby. The boy was ready and swung upwards, his arms pushing the Eevee up into the air.

"Release... and Toxic!" Torby shouted, jumping backwards. Tokigou rolled through the air, reaching the height of its launch, and finally released its tension, posing mid air. using its momentum, it began to spin, its tail releasing an intense purple mist, following its spin and descent like a comet. There was something oddly soothing of watching the mist spiral down after its fall and finally dissipate suddenly, harmless to the whoever stayed out of the way.

"Awesome, awesome!" Torby turned to the last one. "Ready Ianthe?!"

Ianthe needed no direction as she ran forth and jumped onto Torby head. She whipped her leaf around and straightened it to the sky proudly. Torby spread his arms out and pivoted in place.

"Synthesis, then Razor Leaf!" Ianthe complied completely. She began to take in sunlight, and her entire body glowed releasing motes of light energy around her. Her body acting as a beacon as they spun, Ianthe whipped her leaf around in a perfect circle atop her head, and the leaves flew off from her completely whited out body. Glowing a bright white, the leaves returned to their normal green color as the spun off into the distance around them.

"Woo... Now, for the big finish!" All three pokemon joined him, standing in a row before him- Ianthe, Tokigou and Seisui.

"Ready... Helping Hand, Ice Beam, and Razor Leaf!"

Tokigou's body crackled with electrical impulses, mimcing the roots of the actions of the move's creators, Plusle and Minum, and it readied itself to send that energy flowing into its two allies. Ianthe readied her leaf, and Seisui focused an orb of icy white energy in its mouth- here was the big finish, when...

This three all of them off focus, as morty gave out a gigantic shout of frustration. Who the fuck dared to interrupt?! Torby turned in rage, teeth seething, and his pokemon did the same- they always knew Torby was highly tempermental, and woe betide whoever did that...

"Sign it?! what the hell, woman! Can you not see I is training?" Torby said, his words slurring, and an odd accent, somewhat thick, tinging his words, still comprehnesible, but strange.

"Kyah..." Torby took the magazine and signed it was a pen, his name is yellow script, before handing it roughly to her. "Now, unless you're, like, gonna give me some battling practice, go away, please, kthanx?"

The girl/woman/nonhuman freak stared at you in surprise, and then screeched with a severity that could have blasted your eardrums out of the ball park. "OfcourseIwillbattlelemmetellmyfriendstocomeandwatchme!!!!!111" The girl ran off, as you waited and your Pokemon stared at the weirdo.

After a few minutes, all of her screaming friends followed the random fangirl in front of you. The following dialogue is their response:

"LEIK OMG IT'S MORTY RYONAMI! I LOVE YOU!!!"
"BEAT HER IN A BATTLE, MORTY! YOU CAN DO IT!!!"
"I LOVE CHUCK NORRIS!!!"

Upon hearing the final comment, the girls turned around and knocked out the random man who said it. Anyway, the fangirl pulled out three Pokeballs from her pocket. Enlarging all of them, she threw them all out. The three Pokemon were forced out of their Pokeballs in the forms of a Machop, a Taillow, and a Pikachu. "Myfriendsgoeasyonhimbecausehe'sliekMORTYRYONAMI!!! DoyouwannadoliekaTRIPLEBATTLEora3-ON-3?" What, she thinks she can beat you, so much that she's telling them to go easy on you? That's messed up! They can't be that powerful, right? However, they glared at you with monstrous force.

You stood no chance.

Really, now?
'Stupid bitches...'

Torby's mouth curled down in a frown as he popped a finger in his ear. Rotating it and finally scratching the back of his ear with it, he waited for the trio of fangirls to calm the hell down and shut up. It'd had been one thing if they were actually desirable or easy on the eyes, but it seemed like he was getting absolutely like, no vibes or details from these girls. In fact, he was pretty certain their memory would probably fade back into the resevoirs of his mind and vanish forever. They were just that damn unspectacular. And with Torby- if you weren't fabulous, you were trash Really, he couldn't understand why he hadn't simply walked away already. Or let Ianthe Razor Leaf them to bloody hell and all be done with it. But running from the cops was too much trouble, and after a while, its wasn't as much fun to go around all the time with a 'LOL PETTAH CRIME' attitude.

He was just about ready to pull a quick exit when the girl rambled something he had to wait a moment to decipher. So.. she was willing to battle him? He could barely gather all her slurring together into a coherent idea, partly because she talked so damn fast, but also because he honestly doubted she even had any idea in her head.

"Holy crap..." Torby's eyes widened as the girl released her three Pokémon. His eyes turned to little suspicious slits, and he looked at his Pokémon, who returned his glance with raised eyebrows. The boy nodded in agreement. "Yeah... I love how she has a team all designed to take us out too..."

He turned to the girl and held up a hand at her. "Hold your horses, eh, lady? I've got to confer with my posse and all that good shits. Moment, please, yeah?" He turned in place and gestured at the three to gather around him.

"Okay... you three got any idea how we're gonna kick these runts' asses?"

Ianthe's tiny shoulders gave a shrug, and she scoffed and looked away. Tokigou stood up on all fours and gave a yip; Seisui just cocked its head to the side.

"You're all cute, but none of you have any wit between the three of ya..." Torby said, rubbing his forehead helplessly. "Guess I'll have to call on my trump card, eh?"

This certainly got the trio's attention, and they all glanced at one another, then up at Torby. The boy had turned away from them, kneeling before his backpack, apparently digging through the depths.

<Is he really letting him out?> Seisui asked, looking at the other two.

<Its been a good day now since he's been trapped in there.> Tokigou answered, shaking his head. He loved his trainer, yes, but it was very clear the boy was playing favorites; that he didn't approve of. Torby constantly kept his Pokémon out of their balls, so, while by another trainer's standard a day wasn't too bad, with Torby it was pretty much a shaft. <Shame really...>

<Pffft...> Ianthe's nose rose in the air at the mention. <I don't see -why- Torby needed to get himself another Grass type...> Lord, what a little bitch...

"You're completely sure, Silvio?" Torby inquired of the little green gecko on his shoulders. A few moments of talking with Silvio, consisting of uni syllable yelling and miming, and Torby was now ready to fight. The Treecko nodded, grabbing his hair and tugging.

<I already told you, you're set to win.> Silvio said, though all Torby got was it repeating its name to him.

"If you say so..." Torby shrugged and turned to his fan skanks. "Okay, I'm ready. We'll doan all out three on three match, and I'll be using my Ianthe, Tokgiou, and Seisui, alright?"

He looked down at the three combatants, and issued the orders.

"Okay, apparently Silvio doesn't think your attacks are gonna have trouble connecting, and the same holds for them too. Which means we can't depend much on dodging direct attacks, or even long range ones at that. Seisui, you're obviously gonna be a target for Pikachu's attacks. I want you to coat yourself and Tokigou using Mud Slap, just like we practiced earlier, ok?"

Seisui nodded. It would charge forward and use its entire body to raise mud. After so much practice keeping the mud in a wave before him and making sure not to get dirty (for it to get struck by its own mud was WAY off Torby's standards), screwing that up would be easy. It was getting license to actually roll around in the mud it liked so much- it wasn't gonna pass up this opportunity.

"Ianthe, just use Razor Leaf, of course. Ow!" Torby grimaced as Silvio yanked on his hair, reminding him. "Right... Since we can't avoid attacks, I want you to be very careful and use Razor Leaf to protect yourself as soon as you see them headed for you, 'k?"

Ianthe simply gave a small 'hmph' of acknowledgement. She wasn't going to give Silvio any reason to think she actually agreed with him, but he was right. If that bird, or any of this friends, came at her, they certainly were going to meet her Razor Leaf.

"And as for you Tokigou, you pay mind to the stunts we practice, okay? You may be able to dodge by leaping out of teh way at the last second. You all have to watch out for each other. Besides, you have that power, so you're gonna be fine. When you attack, hit them with all you've got!"

<'Full body tackles, the works, 'ight?> Silvio affirmed.

<Word...> Tokigou already knew what he was going to do.

"Okay, ready guys?" A chorus of agreement... "Okay then, you extremely loud woman, are ya ready? Keep in mind our defensive plan, guys. Tokigou use Helping Hand on Seisui. Seisui, use Ice Beam on Taillow right off the bat. You can't miss with Machop around, so keep aim and full power! I want that bird frozen. Ianthe, be ready to use Razor Leaf to intercept any physical attacks to anyone- it should give them the time to get out of the way. If you see that Machop coming, Seisui, use Ice Beam. We're aiming to position them together, but remain at bay. In the end, Tokigou, I want you to charge in and use Toxic on all of them, or none at all. Tackle either the rat or the bird in the end, full force, and send it flying! And so help me god if any of you get hit by something you actually see coming!"

Oh, Torby was pleased. There was really no reason for them to screw up- none of them were idiots or weak. Machop's ability made the long range attacks sure to strike- 100% accuracy was nice. As long as they could manuver or block attacks, they'd be fine. Eevee was a god with is normal moves, Ianthe was already an expert at Razor Leaf, and Seisui wouldn't dare to muck up... That radar fin of his would keep it well aware of everyone's placement.

Fuck Yeah
Shit yeah, and epic no. Congratulations, you just won the game. Allow me to explain how.

Ready for battle, you had the classic stare down before the fight. The western music played, and the wind blew. The whole thing seemed to get a lot more intense. You could even feel your heart beat faster as the sweat would run down your forehead slightly. Your pokemon stood like bad asses, ready to fire off attacks as soon as the word "Draw!" was spoke. Woman and children hid in their house, only peeking out the windows slightly to watch. No one was on the streets now. This was gonna be it. It was time to fight!

DRAAAAAAA- CRASH! What the fuck?

Seems the draw was interrupted by a rather nasty car crash. The fan girls and the pokemon lay dead on the ground in mangled heaps. The car then ignited and exploded. Everyone was happy, cept maybe everyone who had just died. Babies were crying and the fire trucks were on their way. Shit, no more business here, might as well GTFO before any more shit hits the fan. Seems they were not only wiped from your mind a few min later, but from earth itself. You win the game noa.

So anyways, after a bit of GTFOing, cause really who wants to stay and get questioned abut what they saw, you were on another sidewalk heading god knows where down to another part of the city. I suppose now would be a good time to decide what the hell you wanted to do exactly. Hell, if you kept walking like this, you might end up crashing into some tall silver haired dude, cause really, apparently that was the fucking cool thing to do here today. If not, you could always fight that thing.

:metapod Lv. 6 :male

Yeah, I just spawned you a metapod. You didn't get even a common this time. All that work, and that time posting and I just destroyed your plot and spawned a single metapod. Don't worry, its the last very common you might ever see, as I doubt anyone else will ever spawn them for you again.

Really, now?

“Uh… right…” Torby himself was caught off guard by the whole situation, but quickly recovered and addressed his team. “See, guys? God doesn’t appreciate suck and fail, and his divine intervention kept me from having to kill myself. Now do you see why you all have to be perfect?”

Seisui’s bawling stopped instantly, before it quickly retreated behind Tokigou’s bushy tale, the tears streaming down even faster. <He’s so cruel…>

“Quick that crying, Seisui!” Torby shouted, stomping his foot childishly before dragging a ball out his pocket. “Tears only serve to make the eyes red and puffy, and besides, we can’t afford you wasting moisture when you can’t even use Water Gun yet…” Without a word, Torby recalled the Mudkip with a sigh. Good minions were so difficult to find in this day and age- he really did get exhausted of Seisui’s uncooperative hijinks.

“C’mon Ianthe, in your ball…” Torby said, recalling the Chikorita. “I know it funny, but we’ve got get the hell out of here before the cops come over.” Ianthe reluctantly vanished into the ball with a huff. Torby always ruined her fun; on his part, Torby tired of her diva like attitude quickly.

With just Tokigou and Silvio out, Torby brushed his hair back, effectively knocking the gecko off his head, before pivoting on his heel. He gestured towards his posse to join him, and the Treecko and Eevee followed suit.

“Come, friends, before those cops come and handcuff me and try to molest me again…” He said absentmindedly, walking away from the scene. Silvio blinked and sprinted next to Torby, cocking it head as if to inquire “WTF?”

Torby stopped, hands on his hips, and glanced down. Something was wrong with this picture, yup…

What the fuck was Silvio doing walking in front of him instead of in formation behind him?

“Ahem, excuse me?” Silvio quickly caught his mistake and retreated behind the boy, forming a neat triangle with his trainer and Tokigou’s position. “Thank you!”

Silvio could only roll his eyes as Torby led the way again.

“You call that running?! My pregnant grannie can do better than that, and the old bitch has a metal hip for crying out loud!”

Torby’s voice could be heard several blocks away, and it was near certain that people would notice him, or rather, notice his Pokémon. Though how many people hung around in the backstreets of Orepathe, who knows. Two of his Pokémon were running in circles in the large space, in varied degrees of exertion and exhaustion. Silvio was happily leading the way, followed closely by Tokigou, the Eevee forcing itself to try and catch up, lest it fall out of favor with its trainer.

Minutes after the crash, and the whole silly affair had been forgotten by Torby, and, after remembering he was actually training his Pokémon, he had summoned them all out once more, and after bonking Seisui over the head to stop his incessant crying, was back on the schedule. He had Tokigou and Silvio polishing their speed.

“Move it, move it, move it!” Torby shouted, rolling alongside them, drifting along on a pair of skates. “I wanna see some some speed, there! After images, bitches, after images!”

Silvio just grinned and put an extra sprint in its step, running forth on two legs, tilting it tail back in order to get as streamlined as possibly, without, of course, resorting to four legs. Tokigou was going as fast as it could, but it was clearly falling behind, even as calm as the gecko before it was jogging.

Torby caught up with Tokigou, now trailing the thing. “I know you’re not giving up, right?! Someone must not want to eat tonight! Keep it moving, Tokigou!”

The Eevee gave a sigh before it pushed itself to go faster, closing the gap between it and Silvio. Its trainer had so much heart, but honestly, if Torby wasn’t such a sweet kid, it sometimes found itself dreaming of getting the hell away and hiding. But it was intimately aware with how much Torby pushed himself, so it couldn’t complain at all.

“Alright, so we’re gonna try to master some speed techniques, okay?!” Torby shouted, letting his momentum carry him a few feet behind his pokes. “Find a good pace now, something you can keep constant. Every time I blow the whistle, I want you to go full out, got it?”

“Treecko!”

“Ee!!”

“GO!” Torby reached into his shirt and dragged out a yellow whistle. The sheer tone pierced through the air and Tokigou and Silvio shot out, doubling their speed. Another whistle, and the pair went back to their resting pace. Torby nodded in approval; Silvio was going all fours now, dashing forward in his own element, and Tokigou would push itself to just keep off. He drifted out of the circle, pirouetting around Ianthe.

“Is my Ianthe-kun resting well, my dear?!” Torby smiled, his tone that of an endearing and loving trainer. Ianthe smiled in response; she was settled down on a pillow, a plate of crackers in front of her, and a glass of iced tea, the straw delicately bent towards her. She nodded in appreciation as Torby refilled her glass from the pitcher on the ground.

“Kyah… So cute” Torby turned around in place and drifted backwards away from her. “You just get cute there, ‘k?”

“Chiko!” Ianthe said, waving her leaf. It was nice to have a trainer who could meet her needs so aptly. She wouldn’t have minded a little training, but… eh…

“Seisui!” Torby’s shrill yell caused the Mudkip to tense up as the boy rolled over to inspect his handiwork. A giant block of ice was lying in the center of the place, the product of several consecutive Ice Beams.

“So pretty…” Torby admired. The block was more like a dome of ice. In an effort to appease its trainer for its lack of Water Gun and its status of being a fat blue thing with two left legs and no water, it had taken ample care in shaping it correctly. Seisui looked up expectantly at Torby, its forehead noticeably scuffed.

“Ice Beam you’ve got pretty much mastered… How’s your block breaking going?” Torby asked, quickly blowing the whistle. In the background, Tokigou and Silvio were heard dashing. “Show me.”

Seisui nodded, before dashing at the rock and attacking it head on, its skull colliding with the ice with a resounding thud, quickly followed by Torby’s sporadic whistle. The ice did not give way, instead a single fist sized chip of a disc sliding off as Seisui stumbled back.

“FAIL!” Torby shouted, causing the Mudkip to quake. “You’re a freaking Mudkip! I expect to see you slamming through that thing like butter! Do it again!”

Seisui blasted at the ice block again, this time causing a crack to sketch along the edge.

“Ice Beam…”

Seisui sighed before it opened it mouth and fired another beam, making the dome bigger. Knowing what Torby wanted, it rushed at the block and crashed into it again, then repeated several times.

“The point behind Rock Smash and Brick Break is to break through the defenses of whatever your target is…” Torby preached, blowing the whistle for Tokigou and Silvio to speed up again. “You’re perfectly capable of performing such a technique naturally. I won’t stop pushing until it becomes second nature to you, got it?” Seisui nodded, giving a shy smile. Torby responded by sticking his tongur out and turning to address them all.

“Agility, Quick Attack, Rock Smash, Brick Break…” He closed his eyes, smiling smugly. “Coordinators have a stereotype of relying simply on pretty beams and shiny blasts to get through… If you guys are able to perform physically, special attacks will come to you easily… I’m not going to have you guys suffer in the physical combat just because Ice Beam or Razor Leaf looks cooler…” He rolled around aimlessly, the skates skidding over the cement.

“You are perfect, or you are suck! Otherwise you’ll just be-NYAH!!!”

All four Pokémon stopped what they were doing and looked over to see what had happened. Torby had fallen over suddenly, face first into the concrete ground. Immediately Tokigou and Seisui were at his side, the other two watching in concern. Tokigou made a motion as if to try and hoist the boy up, before Torby gave a loud scream in rage.

He was up in a split second, shouting out into the air and his eyes blazing. “Who did it?! Who dared to get in my fucking way?!” Seisui retreated, running back to crash into the rock some more, as if it hadn’t noticed a thing, scared of Torby’s rage. It was a scary thing to see, even if he wasn’t the source of his anger.

“Treecko…” Silvio tugged boldly on Torby’s belt, the string of cloth hanging stylishly from his hip in a hoop, getting his attention. Torby turned, and noticed what Silvio was addressing. He appeared to have tripped over something green and crescent shaped, lying on its side in the middle of the place.

“Ehh…” Torby bent down and peered at it closely. His eyes blinked a few times as he analyzed the object and-

“KYAHH!!!” Torby was suddenly up, gripping his body as if in discomfort. The look on his face, however, was one of extreme pleasure, cheeks flushed and eyelids fluttered close. His legs shook, and Torby let out a groan before dropping down to the ground, head bowed. His body spasm lasted a few more moments, before he finally relaxed.

“Joygasm…” Torby said softly, before reaching out and picking up the Metapod.

“What luck! What fortune! What absolute preference the heavens have shown me!” He said, spinning around in joy as he held the shell in front of him. “A Metapod… so cute!”

He giggled, staring in Metapod’s forlorn expression. The Pokémon couldn’t really be in any position to struggle or argue- after all, it was just a cacoon.

“Oh love… Wandering love…” Torby began, his eyes dazing over, hearts drifting around him and he spun around with the Metapod. “Such beauty… My heart, its become your plaything, dropped into the sea of our love, tossed about in the tempest of our passion, and dashed along the rocky shores of your hotness…” Tears seemed to be ready to spill out his eyes, and his Pokémon stared at him strangely, sav for Seisui, who continued to blast into the rock in the background.

“You poor forlorn girl…” Torby said sadly, hugging Metapod close. “To be dropped down here in such a manner, left to your own devices with no one to love you or protect you…” He sobbed, closing his eyes and letting two single drops of moisture to sparkle into the air. “Such a cute Metapod… Oh, my Papillion… My dearest Papillion-chan…”

<He named it?> Tokigou asked.

<Torby… he has fallen in love…> Ianthe sighed, biting a cracker in her mouth.

<Idiot…> Silvio sighed, before poking Torby’s leg.

“Hmm? Oh right…” Torby set the Metapod down. “Okay, Papillion-chan. I could have my Mudkip Ice Beam you and catch you by force, and you’re really in no position to fight back, now are you?” He smiled, bending down to eye level. “Come with me, and be all win and beauty, or stay here and probably get run over by something…”

Torby tapped a pokeball open before it, and waited.

Fuck Yeah
Your pokemon all trained themselves as best they could, and rock smash was even attemped. Mind you, it wasn't the best most successful attempt, but hell at least the little shit was doing something. A few more training bits like that and you were gonna have this shit in the bag. Now to the metapod.

Metapod looked over at you with a bit of a "wtf? This guys gonna eat me!" face. Once you put him down, with the threat of icebeam, Metapod seemed to have a heart attack, or at least a heart attack where you don't really move or look like your having a heart attack at all. Of course it was gonna go with you, why the hell would it not. I mean really, you were the fucking Torby. Anything else would have just been dumb. If it could, it would have cut its wrist in disgrace of being so weak in front of you.

However, it had no idea how to get actually tell you it wanted to come with you. It nudged its body slightly to the direction of you, but that could have just as easily been a battle charge for a Metapod. It nudged till it fell over on its side, then it just...lay there. Yeah, now it was just laying there looking up to the sky, saying its name once in a while. This metapod was full of leet and win right here.

Thats when you heard a noise in the distance. Kinda a thundery cracky noise. Almost like something was fighting something else. Metapod looked even more distressed as he heard this trying to nudge himself closer to you but only causing itself a slight rock back and forth like a helpless fat man on his back. The fight seemed only to get closer however, and the large flashes of yellow light could be seen just a little be farther though the trees. Something big was going on for sure.

So, you still had to deal with this super effective metapod, and also, now the hint of electric death could be seen. I'm sure you where all to curious about that. Also, just a hint, drop that damn ball on the metapod before it kills itself trying to get to you and accept. The poor thing, look at it. Maybe just curb stomping it will make its life easier. srsly. Now gtfo to check that lightning out so we can continue this plot boy!

“Shishishi…” Torby giggled through cletched teeth at Metapod’s antics. Papillion was so deliciously adorable, it wasn’t even funny. Why was it just rolling around in the ground like that?

“Alright then, Papillion, that settles it. Welcome to my team!” Torby turned and blew two quick sharp whistles. “Seisui, get your ass over here!” The Mudkip turned and bounded over, intrigued by the situation. It crowded around the Metapod, and all of the other pokemon followed suit, forming a circle around their new companion. Torby knelt down, reaching into his back pocket.

“With this pokeball comes a whole new life, and a brand new name!” He said, clicking the ball to expand it. “It’s gonna be tough, and I’ll push you hard. I can’t promise you happiness, that’s all on you, but I can promise happy times. From here on out, Papillion, I’m gonna make you the very best!” To solidify his point, Torby tapped the ball on Metapod. It snapped open, and a red beam poured out, dragging the pokemon inside. It shook once, twice in Torby’s hands, before the button turned red, and a small click indicated a successful capture.

((Word, I know assume the character of my epic ass newly captured Metapod.))

Papillion felt itself absorbed into the ball, and fade into that dreamy state of consciousness. It wasn’t entirely different from his daily life- feeling secure and protected inside a small, semi portable sanctuary. As it laid in the pokeball, it considered its new situation. It now had a trainer who seemed to be completely enthralled with it, a kid named Torby. He seemed competent enough- it had witnessed the training session as it lay there on the concrete. He seemed to push for perfection, and he pushed hard, but he seemed a good enough person. And his pokemon all seemed relatively happy.

‘My name is… Papillion?’ It felt odd now, to be referred to by name. Until now, it had assumed no title other than its proper species name, and even then, there was literally no one who would bother to refer to it. Papillion had been looking forward to simply awaiting evolution, and seeing what it could do then, but now…

’I have a trainer…’ Even inside its ball, Papillion could feel everyone outside. It was an empathetic bug, still retaining his childish sensitivity, and he felt nothing but good will from this group. Yes… he was certainly better off now than he was just a few minutes before.

Just as he was wondering how long he would be in this ball for, Papillion was set loose. A flash of red, a burst of consciousness, and the Metapod found itself back on the ground. Torby and the pokemon were gathered in front of it, and Papillion made an effort to keep itself balanced on its bottom.

“Ianthe, Seisui, Silvio and Tokigou…” Torby said, each pokemon nodding in recognition. “And I’m Torby Ryonami. I’m going to call you Papillion. So everyone, cheers for our new friend.” Torby took a deep breath, clenched his fist and let loose with a yell. “KANPA- eh?”

Whatever Torby was going to shout was cut off by a resounding crackle, and a flash of white light appeared. Ianthe’s leaf perked up, and Seisui’s head fin twitched suspiciously. Torby simply smiled, excited.

<The air temperature in that direction- Its increasing and decreasing substantially in rapid succession. Something is using electric attacks in the distance…> Ianthe reported, prodding her trainer and gesturing toward the sounds.

<There are some things…> Seisui said, nodding and pointing with a foreleg.

Papillion wasn’t quit sure if Torby had understood them or not, but the boy seemed to have gotten the gist of what was going on. He suddenly looked extremely excited, and beckoned to the group.

“C’mon guys, let’s check this out!” The roller skates seemed to have convinently been stowed away, and Torby’s shoes clattered on the concrete as he headed in the direction of the trees. His pokemon followed suit- well, except for one.

<I… can’t follow!> Papillion cried out in panic. Surely it wasn’t going to end up on the sidewalk alone again?! It was so unfair! He bounced once, twice, and teetered, but regained it balance. No, this was no way to move…

“We’ll celebrate your recruiting later…” Torby said, pausing to look back. “But you’re going to have to learn to be perfect…”

Papillion was hurt as the boy seemed to walk away in slow motion, smiling at him. The other pokemon simply looked forward, gathered around him. In that moment, Papillion felt an overwhelming loneliness. It was trapped in this shell, protected from everything, but right now, it wanted nothing more than to be exposed. Torby’s eyes met with his and they seemed to share a split second of understanding. Something warm welled up in Papillion’s heart…

Torby’s eyes grew strong for a moment, a flash of fierceness and determination that made Papillion surprisingly small, but hopeful. It was if to say Trust me

<Okay…>

“C’mon, Papillion! String Shot!”

“Metapod!” Papillion released a string from the top of his cacoon, firing it point blank towards Torby. It was filled with a sudden determination to di it very best, to make that kid proud. Something in those eyes seemed to beg for perfection, for it to do it best, as if Torby had seen all the failure he had wanted to for a life time. Do your best, I’ll do mine!

Papillion’s string looped at the end, in midair, and flew past Torby. Reaching out a hand, the coordinator snatched the string and gave a small tug. Papillion understood, and dragged itself along, drawing the string back into its body, slinging itself.

In just that small moment, no more than maybe 3 or 4 seconds, Papillion moved on it sown for the first time in months. No angry hungry Pidgeotto dropping it in the city, no curious little girls kicking him, no Growlithe pissing on him… There was a profound sense of freedom when Torby taught him to do such a thing… And as Papillion flew through the air on his string, and Torby caught and slung the Metapod on his back, using the very silk as a harness, it felt an overwhelming desire to just burst out and fly.

“Kanpai… Welcome aboard.” Torby whispered, adjusting Papillion on his back. A thick thread of String Shot, and Papillion was safely on his back, a la Misty’s backpack style.

Torby and his little party headed to the field of electrical disturbance.

’If something’s discharging electricity, then dur it’s an electric pokemon…’ Torby thought, running towards the source with his pokemon. ’Or it’s a pokemon using electric attacks… Can’t cut out that possibility… Still, electric pokemon are hard to come by in the wild or in the city… I might just try to add another member to my team…

Thats when you saw the most bad ass pokemon you have ever encountered till this point.

:elekid Lv. 7 :male

It was facing against some insane odds, this shit was clearly off the wall. Elekid was currently surrounded by packs of Farfech'd, and not just normal ones, ninja ones. It was the dark leek clan, and they were after Elekid now for some unknown reason. You watched form a nearby bush for a second as you saw the pokemon get ready for battle.

x4 :farfetch'd Lv. 3 Lv. 3 Lv. 3 Lv. 7 All :male

Two of the farfech'd had normal leeks, while one had two tied together to make nunchuck leeks, and the strongest had a massive leek. The three level three ninja birds jumped forward into an attack against the Elekid then. Elekid bent its knees a little ready for the attack to come. It waited for the last second to attack, when it knew it had the perfect opportunity. The first leek came down, Elekid sidestepped to the right placing his foot on it as it hit the ground. The second sword like leek came down and Elekid was forced to jump back to avoid it.

From behind the nunchuck bird screamed out all bruce lee style as it ran forward swining the leet across to hit Elekid. Elekid saw the move coming just in time to duck it and leg sweep the bird to the ground. Thats when the others came to for a second attack. Elekid though quickly nabbing the nunchuck leek from the fallen bird and holding it out in front of him just in time to block the oncoming leek blades.

Ohhh Shiiit!

Elekid jumped back away from the birds as it did a demo of its skills with the chucks. All three birds recovered from the fight so far and took a step back. This Elekid was a real bad ass. The three looked at each other before assuming a fighting position, the bird without a leek making judo stance. All three rushed the Elekid again. This time, it was ready. Elekid sung its chucks around batting one of the sword ones away before side stepping and bating the other away as well. The kung-fu bird ran up and attempted a few chops that Elekid dodged swiftly before head butting it away.

The first sword one hit got up again and ran for a surprise attack behind Elekid, but was spotted just in time. Elekid did a backflip over the bird catching its neck with the chucks and pulling it back behind it. The bird struggled for a second before Elekid snapped its neck effortlessly. The other sword bird came around the side, but Elekid again was too quick and tossed the dead bird into the sword one. The kung-fu bird jumped into the sky however before Elekid could stop it and gave a fierce kick to Elekids skull sending it flying backwards into a tree.

The sword bird recovered just in time to run up attempting to finish the job on the still stunned Elekid, but Elekid got its cool back just in time to jump upward above the leek slash and avoid a painful death. Elekid landed on the leek that was now stuck in the tree, it gave a battle cry before vicously beating the head of the sword bird to death with its leek chucks. Another one down.

The kung-fu bird jumped up again ready to kick Elekid back into submission, but Elekid wouldn't fall for the same thing twice. It grabbed the leg of the bird as it came for it and gave it a toss into the dirt not far away. The bird hit the dirt with a crash, stunned for a second. When it tried to get up, Elekid quickly pushed the sword leek into its gut pinning it to the ground and killing the last of the low level birds. The high level one laughed as it stepped forward drawing the large leek blade from its back.

"You fight well, but you are no match!"

It ran forward at Elekid who quickly lift the leek blade up to defend itself. The large leek however was too strong and couldn't block the large one. Elekids leek broke in two and Elekid was thrown backwards from the force. It had just barely recovered when another slash was coming at it. Quickly it rolled to the right avoiding just in time.

"You will perish today Shinobi"

Elekid could hardly keep up with the fury of attack from the enemy leek blade. It was going to have to use its nipo! Elekid jumped forward just avoiding the massive blade, roling between the Farfech'd legs. As it stood it lifted both hands and yelled out its special nipo move!

"Dragon's Lightning Fang of the Ninja!"

It preformed a thundershock to the back of the farfech'd causing it to drop to one knee. Elekid was hardly done however. It did another Ninpo!

"Thousand Years of the Bright Dragon!"

It did thundershock again causing the farfech'd to become paraliyzed. It couldn't move, and Elekid took its chance. It grabbed the massive leek blade the farfech'd once used and lifted it above its head. The Farfech'd laughed as it saw Elekid do this.

"You may have won the battle, but my clan will never let you win the war!"

With that, Elekid silenced the farfech'd for the last time, cutting its head clean off. Blood sprayed out epicly before the body fell to the ground beside it. Elekid dropped the leek blade and gave out one last warcry.

"EEEEEEELLLLEEEEEKKKKKKIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDD"

Oh shit, you could catch this thing.

(you couldn't understand the pokemon talking of course.)

Holy shit, this is awesome...

Watching the amazing battle before them, the group paused, transfixed as the horror unfolded before them. The Elekid was single handedly fighting the Farfetch'd squadron, no, it was single handedly kicking the ass of the Farfetch'd squadron. It was almost too beautiful for words to describe- how was one supposed to capture in words the sheer magnificence of this Elekid in action? Those feat of acrobatic proficiency, the power of the radiating lightning jutsus, the arcs of blood that rain through the air, drops of the red stuff spiralling through the air, deforming themselves and pivoting like a thousand morbid little swallowtails of truth, pwn, and destruction...

It was so awesome.

The group was having their share of varied reactions. All of them had stopped immediately upon encountering the scene, pokemon gathered around and behind Torby like they were supposed to (Seisui was motivated to do so with a heel in his face). Torby seemed to stare intently at the scene, blue eyes shining curiously, but he kept his composure. His fingers wrapped more tightly around Papillion, who he carried like a small child in front of him- Papillion was for the most part unexpressive. Silvio stood rigid as well, arms crossed seriously, but a bead of sweat trickled down the side of his face. Tokigou was standing there looking shocked and appalled, mouth agape in sheer awe. The Eevee didn't even notice when Ianthe used him as a support, the Chikorita bursting into hysterical laughter, her eyes brimming over with tears of glee. Tears were collecting in the corners of Seisui's eyes as well; thoroughly traumatized, the Mudkip immediately began to sniffle and cry like a big baby.

"It seems like the Elekid is a strong one... Rather impressive" Papillion finally said, breaking the silence.

"Can we leave?! He's scary!" Seisui's bawling was stifled badly in his effort to conceal his fear.

"He's brilliant!" Ianthe was thoroughly amused indeed.

"How can you commend that?!"

"His technique is amazing..." Silvio's eyes glared intensely. "I wonder if I can take him..."

"You too?!"

"Shut the hell up and quit crying!" Coming out of his trance, Torby tucked his foot under Seisui's side and launched him skyward. The Mudkip gave a pitiful bawl as it crashed off in the distance. Really, his Mudkip was so uncivilized and loud...

"Seisui's out of favor again..." Tokigou sighed. Seisui was loyal to a fault, but he often wondered just how much abuse it could take...

Torby paid Seisui no more mind, dropping Papillion down haphazardly, who was caught quickly by Silvio. "Isn't Biribiri-san just awesome?!"

"He's named it already!"

"Okay, which one of you guys wanna go fight him for me? Seisui, what are you doing over there!"

Seisui, whose bottom was jutting out of a bush, gave a wild jerk and dove it, then rushed out to attend to Torby.

"Biribiri. Fight him. Now."

Seisui's eyes turned into two giant saucers, and tears began to spill out uncontrollable. It was scared shitless of having to fight the ninja, but it was also overcome with emotion at Torby entrusting such a task to it.

"Yosh, I can do it! I'll make you pro-"

"Torby, let me fight him..." Silvio pushed Seisui out of the way and stepped forward, Papillion on his back, suspended by a thick strap fashioned out of String Shot. It had undergone an interesting transformation. Using what must have been Papillion's string shot, its had its paws bound in the silk like a boxer and his bandaged fist. The same held true up to his forearms and on his knees as well.

"Oh, you wanna take this, Silvio?" Torby asked, impressed.

Silvio nodded, and Papillion added his own two cents. "I wish to battle as well..."

Torby seemed to get the message despite not understanding a thing they said. "Word?! Okay then!" At his affirmation, Silvio pulled Papillion and held the Metapod in front of him, using the band of String Shot round the cacoon's body in order to wield it much like a sheild.

"Such innovation! You should learn from that, Seisui... Okay, are you two ready?"

"Bring it..."

"I'll do my best"

"Oi, Biribiri-kun!!!" Torby shouted to get the Elekid's attention, all the while thinking quickly. 'Its fast- faster than any of my pokemon, and the only one with any chance of keeping up would be Silvio... Papillion is the master of defences here, and since Silvio is using him as a weapon, this should keep the scales balanced...'

"Let's battle! Silvio, Papillion, get ready! Harden, and Silvio use the Papillion Edge to attack! Then use String Shot to bind up Elekid when you get the chance, and Silvio will use Pound from above!"

Silvio and Papillion's eyes glistened with the same intensity as their trainer's- there it was again, the wavelength of the souls. They were all on the same page. Silvio knew Torby enough to know that the boy wasn't telling him to do it just one way...

'I can use 'Papillion Edge' to attack directly, but its so fast I may end up having to counter by attacking as soon as it comes towards me...

'Together we can take the brunt of these attacks, and using myself as sheild, I can make sure Silvio survives to keep acting... As for tying him up...

'It'll be Silvio who determines how the String Shot will happen...He can...

...simply hold up Papillion and have it String Shot from a distance or from a point blank range...

'Or I may become a lashing weapon, by extending my String Shot outwards and catching it in the string. I'll end up flying around it like a flail, and effectively cripple it...'

'And when that happens...'

'I'll leap in and slam into it with my tail...'

"Tokigou, give them a Helping Hand!"

'Yosh... from the sidelines...'

Tokigou sent a rush of electricity rushing towards Silvio and Papillion, strengthening their next assault. Harden would be stronger, and until Silvio actually used an attack in his own repertoire, it would have that physical boost. Papillion glistened for a moment, its body becoming a powerfuly dense weapon- combined with Silvio's empowered swing...

"GO!"

You all did your thing over the Elekid as he turned to finally see you all. He looked a little confused as he listened to everyone, not sure if you were gonna try and capture him, or if you were gonna proclaim him god of the land. Either one was sweet with him really, though if they were gonna fight him, he figured he better ready up his ninjitsu. Elekid started to wave his arms around generating electricity in his body. Shit, you were fucked now.

Anyways, you got your battle plans a ready, and were gonna go in for the fight/capture/win maneuver. It was around this time that the ninja elekid realized that you were gonna try to sword battle it with the metapod. Wtf. Elekid made a face to go with that as it thought it, right before face palming.

Still the battle was gonna happen either way, so instead of bitching about it, Elekid got into super ninja cool mode. It was ready to use its ninjitsu again, and it was more then ready enough to go against your pokemon, even with the disadvantage. BATTLE START

The string shot came from metapod at elekid, but elekid was ready. He extended out both his hands and was used his own ninjitsu to combat the enemy ninjitsu. He yelled out as he started to glow with Thunder shock energy.

"Yellow moon thunder of the Lion's Roar!"

Elekid did thunder shock as he said this blowing away the string shot. Now all it had to worry about was the other attacks. Elekid quickly dived over to the leek from the fallen farfech'd as it dodged the pound attack using the Metapod. It picked up the leek and dashed forward making a powerful horizontal slash with the leek. Treeko was quick however and managed to block the attack with metapod.

No more then a second later the two pokemon where engaged in a fierce sword fight, blocking and dodging each others moves just in time. They seemed dead even with each other until helping hand was moved. All at once Treeko took the advantage and nailed Elekid in the gut hard with metapod. Elekid went flying back and landed in the dirt.

Treeko smirked taking his time now to use string shot to have a nice rope attachment to Metapod. It seemed for now you took the advantage. But would it last?

Really, now?

There was no matching Torby’s glorious smile as he watched the battle ensue, his threshold of excitement already filling to overflow. His heart was already racing in excitement; the adrenaline of battle was dancing all over his arms in the form of goose bumps. He could feel the same sinful trembling in his thighs; his knees jelly like, threatening to give way any moment now… There was just something about watching Elekid and his pokemon do battle that was almost too much for him to handle. Silvio and Papillion’s coordination and synchronized actions were spot on. Granted, one could have pretty much have simply been an inanimate object; but still, Papillion Edge was quite something.

“And Biribiri-san…” Torby whispered dreamily, fist clutching his shirt and cheeks reddening, his lips pursed in awe. Tokigou glanced upwards at his trainer, and gave a yip of alarm. That look on Torby’s face- it couldn’t have been happening again, could it?

“Torby… are you okay?!”

No sooner had Tokigou questioned Torby’s wellbeing that the boy let out a sigh so frightfully erotic, it would had sealed his fate in a roomful of convicted pedophiles. Torby had dropped to his knees, shaking visibly, arms clenched around his shoulders. The Eevee laid a paw on Torby’s bare knee in concern- its trainer was frightfully warm to the touch, feverishly so.

“…Torby…”

Torby winced, his body shuddering, and suddenly his head was raised, and he flashed a million watt smile. He still shook, and he was still warm, and suddenly Tokigou felt a wave of nostalgia.

“Tokigou, Torby, is he okay?!” Silvio, in the little pause of combat, was glancing back in concern.

Papillion’s eyes gave a creepy 360 degree turn upwards to glance back as he was held at arms length. “Perhaps, he is overexcited?”

”Okay, guys, round two!” Torby was suddenly back in command, still on the ground, but the pokemon quickly responded in kind.

“Papillion Whip, now!” Silvio quickly lashed Papillion out, forming a long ranged weapon of the impromptu Metapod. It grasped the silk whip tightly, and spun Papillion over its head.

“Okay, here’s the game plan! We’re catching Biribiri no matter what! Papillion, be ready to use Tackle the moment you’re thrust towards Elekid. After that, we’re abandoning the weapon form. Silvio, we’re gonna engage in physical assault. Keep at a distance for a while, then go fullspeed at Elekid and use Pound! So help me god if you let any attack stop you! Papillion, be ready to perform String Shot as soon as you see an opening!”

”Treecko!”

”Metapod!”

Torby was trusting in several skills he had seen in his pokemon already. Silvio was extremely fast, and good at increasing his speed if the morning’s training was anything to go by. His Papillion, also, seemed capapble of balancing itself after a little encouragement, and it had shown the ability to move itself using its own thread. Still, it wasn’t like there was any need for a trump card or anything… Not yet, anyways.

Good tactics and perfect strategy are always a good part of winning a battle. But what about luck? Luck seems to play an equally important place in such a wild match up. And then there's logic. Logical that a Treeko who's been working out it all morning clearly had to have a clear advantage to an Elekid. Well, maybe if that Elle kid wasn't riding on a huge speed boost from not only being naturally fast, but also being a pure bred ninja.

Biribiri churned his arms, creating a force of static energy as Silvio spun the "Papillion Whip" in the air. Torby's commands did not go unheard. The tactician begun to make its move, traveling on with a powerful strike ready to hit into the ninja-esque creature. Focusing itself into a acceptable position, Biribiri braced himself for the hit. Leek spread in front, the pokémon's arms flashed with electrical energy, as if it was ready to send a surge with its makeshift sword.

Overriding confidence progressed into an ambush of skill rather than pure-power. Silvio and its readied partner progressed forward, Silvio launching the inertia-driven metapod straight toward the enemy. Papillion hardened on its own, not wanting to take too much recoil damage. Biribiri launched a smirk- he was ready for this. Papillion smashed into the statically-charged leek, lighting up in a flash of electrical energy. It seems the power Biribiri was able to charge up a good amount of energy, and seemed to be waiting for the right time to release it. Papillion fell to the ground, electricity pulsing through it; the pokémon had clearly been paralyzed.

It was now time for the second part of the strike force, Silvio's turn to smash into Biribiri, time to do some major damage that could even make Torby happy. Lunging from its speedy advance, the wood gecko seemed to soar through the air. A perfect 10! As Silvio was trying for its assault, Papillion tired to shoot out his string, he really did! But he just couldn't due to the paralysis! don't kick him for it, please, don't! Silvio noticed that its partner couldn't pull out the second part of its attack. No matter, he'd still been able to land right into Biribiri's range. A pulse of energy lifted through the air, Biribiri had detected the move; it could be too late.

However, it was not. Silvio spun around, lifting its right foot off the ground and rotating its body so that its tail was able to slam directly into the back of Biribiri-san. The electrical-ninja felt the attack straight in his back. The pokémon buckled, but remained cool, calm, collected. It knew Torby's wished it no harm, and was ultimately testing his ability; he was checking to see if Torby, yes, the great Torby, was being tested to see if he was worthy of Biribiri's ability.

The only flaw Biribiri-san located? The only flaw Biribiri-san was able to pick out was the if/or command which seemed to be rather important. As Silvio spun itself back into a stance position in hopes of making a hasty escape, Biribiri took to his feet, quickly slamming his small body into the opponent. The magnificent blur of color quickly flash from the ground, and directly into the chest of an unsuspecting treeko.
