Oh, Althea. Fond recollections of simpler days - and the memories we will once more make together.
How times change. Althea: Rebirth has begun. WE SHALL PURGE THIS MISERABLE WORLD WITH THE CLEANSING FLAME AND BUILD ANEW ON ITS ASHES. Rank Overview It's actually funny because, like two iterations of Althea later, this section finally has a purpose. |

Really, now?

"I'll think I'll get venti iced caramel frappucino... you gonna want anything, Kaito?" "Stop talking to me, you senseless retard!" Kaito squawked, waving his arms frantically at Tyler from his little seat on the coffee shop's table. Tyler's insistence on speaking to him about everything was touching, but it still didn't stop the strange looks from people around them. Tyler didn't seem to care, but the looks that the sixteen year old got just by talking to a cute penguin were far too many for Kaito's comfort- there was no telling which of those glances were actually more sinister than just plain curiousity. Even as he thought this over, a group of little girls were pointing and mocking him from beyond the shop's glass window. "Fine, but don't ask me for any of mine, later..." Kaito buried his face in his tiny arms as Tyler left for the counter, hoping that if he tucked himself into a ball just enough, he'd be able to vanish out of sight. Tyler simply did not understand the necessity to blend in with the crowds, especially when you were being targeted by people so much stronger than yourself. It was like Tyler wasn't taking any of his training seriously- the Piplup couldn't remember the last time they even had a real match at all, and Tyler was still carrying out around a box with five empty rings. True, it had only been two months, but he had expected a bit more progress at least... Some vigorous training at the most, but this... Somehow getting iced caffeine drinks in a cafe full of pretentious psuedo intellectualls and flip flop wearing idiots seemed so very counterproductive. Kaito chanced a look around the cafe, and would've scowled if his beak had permitted him such facial expressions. These people all looked so stupid, standing around fapping themselves with their iced coffees and stupid bathing suits and towels... He had instantly regretted letting Tyler decide that today's 'training' should be at the beach... "Here..." Kaito looked up to Tyler holding a small cup full of ice cream towards him, and instantly all anger seemed to melt away. "You'd want something eventually..." "Don't tell me what I want!" Kaito shouted, snatching the desert away and promptly digging into it, making a point to not meet Tyler's gaze. He was still intensely displeased with his 'trainer', and Tyler's soft laughter didn't help things at all. "You're always so tense, little guy. You really need to learn to lighten up sometimes..." Tyler's words were lost as Kaito looked away, dropping his spoon in the process. Surely it couldn't be him again?! "You listening?" Tyler got his answer when Kaito simply slapped him with his flipper and pointed. Standing right at their table, was a man they hadn't expected to see her of all places... "Oh... hey there... How's your... arm?" |

Fuck | Yeah

"Fine actually, thank you for asking." Ancelin smiled as he pulled the seat on the opposite side of the table that Tyler was sitting at. He sat down taking a drink of his coffee, that he had black. He enjoyed his coffee black, as the kick it gave him was indeed pleasurable. He figured he would sit down and talk, after all it had been a long time since him and Tyler had seen each other. He remembered the last time well, and intended to get a bit of revenge later but right now was not exactly the time for it. “Recovering well after losing your cute pink friend I see” Ancelin laughed before taking another sip of his coffee. He could make hold his own in a battle of wits, and if Tyler did intend to make this into one he wouldn’t back down. Being in such an intellectual place like this made him feel more inelegant even. He did enjoy being in places like this, it almost felt as if he belonged in places like this. If he had been a normal person he might have found himself around places like this more often. |
