He keeps the sleeves up to avoid getting too hot from the heat on the island. He wears dark blue jeans, a dark gray chain runs from one of his side belt loops downwards, 3 inches, and then curves back up, connecting to his wallet in his back pocket. He wears grey running shoes that have a check mark on both sides.
Physique: Sino stands tall at 6' 3'', weighing around 194 pounds. His eyes are blue in color, and his hair is dark brown. Sino has a crescent scar on the back of his right shoulder, when his shirt is off, it can be clearly seen on his cardboard colored skin. Sino is slim, but he has an athletic build to his body, the result of years of soccer. Underneath his shirt is a four-pack(He's still working on a six-pack).

Personality:
Sino is mostly a calm, relaxed, and driven person. Spending his free time relaxing nearby a lake, training with his Pokémon, leaning on a tree, or just sitting on the roof, enjoying the breeze. Sino has an overall friendly personality towards others, but his trust is something that will have to be earned. He is constantly loyal to his friends, and he expects the same in return. If his trust is betrayed, the loyalty bond broken, Sino will show no friendliness towards that person. Giving them the cold shoulder, and if necessary, will cause pain and misery in their lives.

Sino will constantly drive himself at whatever he does, not stopping until his goal is completed. He will never give up, even if the odds are greatly against him, and will always fight till the end. He lives his life day by day, and doesn't worry about the future, nor the past. Due to his athletic past, Sino will always try to find some physical activity to do. If there is none at the moment, or if Sino gets tired of running around in circles, he will spend his time outdoors. Relaxing nearby a tree or some place where he can get a breeze.

Sino is usually calm, but emotions can and will get the best of him. He rarely shows sorrow, turning his sadness into anger. When angry, Sino will have no expression on his face. His eyes will remain stoic and his tone of voice will remain normal, but will seem somewhat darker. His driven personality only increasing this anger, causing Sino to become even more determined to finish what he started, and ignoring any advice or aid that comes his way.

Sino has some talents that allow him to succeed as a trainer and as an individual. Sino is an excellent soccer player, his years of playing soccer have given him the agility and stamina he needs to run long distances, or make a quick escape. Sino is surprisingly a good cook, can make a meal out of almost anything, and can feed his Pokémon. Sino is able to understand his Pokémon well, after being with them for a period of time, and knows their basic needs and wants. Sino is able to survive many situations that would kill most people, due to his athletic ability and his ability to improvise using anything in the area.

Flaws:
Sino's driven personality has been known to get him into serious trouble. When situations look grim and no chance of escaping, Sino tends to continue pushing through the situation, always thinking that there is a way out of the situation. This has been known to cause some serious dilemmas, as when Sino pushes further through the situation he gets himself into deeper trouble. When angry, his ambition to finish what he has started has known to get him and his Pokémon into near death situations. Sometimes severely injuring him and his Pokémon, or just him sometimes. He also tends to underestimate a situation, sometimes being unprepared for a situation, and forcing him to think critically before he gets injured.

Likes: Soccer- his first introduction as to something worth living in this world. To Sino, besides his Pokémon, soccer is his life. It was through soccer also where he developed his liking of running. He will randomly take morning jogs around the area where he is at, even if the path seems dangerous. Traveling- this was Sino's reason of coming to Althea in the first place. Thunderstorms and breezes help Sino relax his mind and body, allowing him to focus on training and other activities he has to do.
Dislikes: Cleaning- After spending hour after hour doing cleaning up a whole house and then the backyard, Sino has come to detest cleaning. Any mention of the world cleaning and Sino will try to find a way out of it, or he will try to bribe, or pay, somebody to clean for him. Being a soccer/running freak, Sino dislikes being inside a room for more than 30 minutes.

Dream: Sino dreams of catching all dog Pokémon, including the legendary dogs. Also to travel the world, and see every possible place there is, as well as becoming part of the league in Johto.

Fighting Style: Sino's fighting style is mostly all about speed. Being a soccer player himself, and a fast runner, Sino prides himself on quick attacks, quick dodging, and rapidly finishing off the opponent. The same goes for his Pokémon, fast and quick attacks. He trains his Pokémon to be quick, allowing them to move rapidly around the field, giving them the opportunity to strike first, fast, and hard. Sino prefers to attack with long range attacks, as well.

Biography:
Sino Tenzai, son of Sam and Kiana Tenzai, wasn't born in a hospital like most children. It was during a cruise to some random place when during the middle of dinner Kiana Tenzai's water broke. She was quickly rushed to the ship's version of a hospital, where she delivered birth to a baby boy. Sam was completely in shock that something like this could happen on their vacation trip to search for a new home. It did happen though and Sino Tenzai was born on a cruise ship.

His family then settled down in the Johto region, where his father had gotten a job at the local pokemart. As Sino grew up in the house he grew an interest in soccer, and with constant begging and whining, his father finally placed him in a local soccer league. Year after year, Sino developed his skills as a soccer player, winning M.V.P twice in a row. It was on his 13th birthday where as a gift Sino was given a Houndour as his first Pokémon.

Unfortunately it wasn't "love" at first sight, it was more of trainer not caring about Pokémon at first sight. Sino wanted nothing to do with the Houndour, constantly ignoring it's whines and slamming the door on his face. Houndour constantly tried to follow Sino into his room, but was met with failure everytime. Sino's only concern at the time was playing soccer.

Two years after Houndour had arrived in the house, it was a bright and sunny day. The sun was beaming down on the city, and the heat burning with the intensity of one thousand suns. A small black dog laid down on the porch, watching as his master played soccer in the field, with his friends. Houndour felt lonely and unwanted, yet he couldn't leave the house unless his master went with him. It was then, when the sound of screaming and crying reached his ears, the soccer field had turned into a disaster area.

A rogue Scyther had appeared, and begun its cutting rampage of fury among the soccer players. Sino, being one of them, was among the soccer players in the field. Houndour jumped off the porch and raced towards the field, to save his master. The Scyther spotted the incoming pooch, making a beeline towards the dog. Unfortunately, the untrained and non battle ready dog was no match for the Scyther. As the last blow from the scyther was about to be unleashed, the sound of ripping flesh could be heard. An injured Sino could be seen rolling on the ground with Houndour in his arms. Blood was dripping down Sino's arms, and back from his right shoulder as he got up from the ground, swaying side to side. He wasn't sure why he saved his dog...he just did.

Houndour looked up at Sino and watched as his owner fell to the floor on his knees. Hatred filled the dog’s eyes as it turned towards the Scyther, and unleashed a burning ember towards the green Pokémon, sending it away once and for all. Looking towards Houndour, Sino simply kneeled there in amazement as the dog he had ignored for two years was saved by him, in returned, saved him. Smiling as he looked at the dog, blackness overtook Sino as he fell to the floor.

Sino spent two days in the hospital, and his only 24/7 companion was Houndour, whom had spent the whole time at his side. The bond between trainer and Pokémon had formed during the two day hospital stay, and a new chapter opened up in Sino’s life. Nicknaming the dog, Shadow, Sino began on a training quest with his dog, to make him faster and stronger.

It was through the training where Sino discovered his passion for Pokémon, and with the capturing of a Riolu, Sino had fully begun his path as a trainer. It was after doing some research on Pokémon, Sino had decided to capture more dog Pokémon, thus beginning his quest. Gathering some of his belongings, his two beloved Pokémon, and his money, Sino set off into the world. Leaving behind his family, friends, and random people he new, now heading into the unknown world.

If there was a better day to travel, today was not that day. Tremendous downpours pelted the white yacht, the seas making it sway side to side, the motion of the ship sending passengers, practically everybody, to the bathroom frequently. The outside deck was empty with the exception of a few people. and water Pokémon playing outside, enjoying the rain. Near the port side of the ship a figure was lying down on the soft leather sofa, a small black mutt curled up in a ball, on top of the figure's stomach.

A loud thud echoed its way from the outside of the ship to the inside of the ship, the loudspeakers screeching as the captain made an attempt to return back onto the intercom. "Attention passengers, we have now arrived in Althea. Please gather your belongings and make your way to the exit. Thank you." A yawn could be heard in the distant corner of the ship, a pair of blue eyes opened, and a pair of arms stretched out. The sound of a bark, four paws hitting the ground, and then another bark, was immediately heard after.

Slowly making his way off the leather couch and looking around the ship, Sino yawned once more. Picking up his one strap bookbag, fixing his shirt, and then cracking his knuckles, Sino, along with Shadow, made their way off the boat. Arriving at the port a smile grew on Sino's face. "Well Shadow we're here. Althea." With a quick look towards the boat, a smile on his face, Sino turned around and ran into the city, Houndour following next to him. The adventure has begun.

Name: Shadow
Personality: Shadow is Sino's right hand Pokémon, his best friend, his compadre. Unlike Sino, Shadow is a playful and hyper little canine. Always wagging his tail as he walks next to Sino, he is always by Sino's side constantly. Shadow dislikes being in a pokeball, but if necessary, Shadow will return to his pokeball. During battles, Shadow will listen to most of Sino's commands and will be 100% serious.
