Name: Belle Méchance

Meaning: In French, belle means beautiful if you're a lady, which Belle most certaintly is. Méchance is supposed to mean malice in french, but I had to chop of the ending to avoid her last name being gross. The full word is 'Méchanceté'. So the full meaning, albeit wrong grammatically, is 'Beautiful Malice'.

Eyes: Belle's eyes are a clear gray. They exude a serious aura, but Belle isn't a serious person so much as stuck-up. One could say that they're almost mesmerizing to look into, but that's probably because they're so large. It's kind of hard not to find yourself staring at her in wonder.

Hair: Her hair is pretty much what's pictured. She always keeps her hair in a ponytail or bun. Like many woman who are in Arachnos, it's too much of a bother to have hair in the way of your work, so rather then chopping it off she just keeps it up. The flower isn't part of her attire.

Skin: Fair would be the best way to put it. She wears make-up when she can, so any blemishes she might have are usually covered up. Her tone isn't ghostly pale, and it isn't naturally tan looking (god forbid she ever set foot into a tanning salon; she'd burn to a crisp). Overall, it's just average.

Clothes: It has crossed her mind to simply wear a kimono everywhere, but that's usually not what she wears on a day to day basis. She favors formfitting clothes because of her flexible body, making anything baggy or loose a nuisance. Colors range from black to gray to white. It's not so much that she doesn't like colors moreso the fact that anything else is hard to use as camouflage. Going on missions in pink isn't exactly inconspicous.

Physique: Athletic, for the most part. She likes to keep in shape, often running laps and stretching to maintain her flexibility and running capabilities. Her legs are pretty strong from this, although her upper body could still use some work. Nonetheless, she can fight back if you threaten her, so don't expect to be pushing her around for the lulz. She's also quite slender, which compliments her height.

Height: 5'11" which yes, is quite tall for a lady.

Weight 147 lbs. considering she's tall and works out a little.

Other: What you see is what you get, unless you care to know she's broken her right arm twice and her left ankle once. But they've long since recovered; she doesn't even hobble anymore from the ankle. Also, she looks a bit young for twenty, but it kind of helps her in the long run since people are much less likely to believe someone younger is capable of some of the crimes Arachnos pulls off.

Personality: Like her name suggests, Belle is a very malicious person when she wants to be, and pulls it off with deadly precision (sometimes literally). Because she's of the lowest glorified grunt subclass, she's usually very subtle about her attitude around higher ups. Afterall, she dreams of being a Harbinger one day and running a squad of her own, and backtalk would probably mess that up, no?

Around people below or at her level however, she seems somewhat of a snob, talking down to people in a very condescending manner while throwing in sneers and pompous remarks. She could pontificate for hours about the glories of being a field agent.

During missions she's not much different, although because her skills are stealth based, she doesn't talk very much. She still tends to try and take the lead if she can, thinking that most grunts aren't worth giving a chance (her belief is that if they were any good they would have been promoted already).

The irony of her personality is that she lacks patience and has quite a short fuse. One of the main contributing reasons she hasn't been promoted yet, is not only her attitude toward others, setting back her 'teamwork ethic', but also the fact that her anger makes missions go awry.

Known Family: Belle is the oldest of five daughters, all of whom live in Johto. She also has a mother and father of course, but they very rarely get involved with her life anymore. Although she hasn't heard from her sisters since she moved to Althea, Belle is almost certain they'll try to bug her one day; probaby in an effort to get her to quit Arachnos.

Dream: Belle's dream is to become a Harbinger. She has an interesting obsession with meeting the Overseer, and becoming a Harbinger is the best way she knows how to accomplish this. Other than that, she really just wants to prove herself capable. Since she comes from a family of do-goody types, she's not too sure how others view her when it comes to crime.

Fighting Style: Considering Billy takes forever just to process the words "I choose you", Belle hasn't really adapted a fighting style with him other than ripping her hair out trying to get him to obey. She herself though moves rather nimbly in battle, not dealing heavy damage moreso than striking quickly and efficently where it counts, such as the throat or pressure points on the torso.

Her biggest fault is Billy pretty much, since she has to coordinate herself while making sure that Billy isn't wandering into a pit full of flaming chainsaws. She's in desperate need of more team members, but she doesn't get a chance to go places that have wild Pokémon much, and stolen Pokémon don't find there way into her pocket...yet.

Proficiency: Dominating, she luvs her pokémanz.

Biography: Not strictly required, but we do recommend that you fill one out at some point. One entirely valid approach is to start with essentially a blank slate and fill it in as you RP, but you're welcome to start out with a 400-paragraph monstrosity or a token three sentence explanation of why they can't remember anything thanks to a tragic accident involving a zebra and a midget two hours before you mysteriously landed in Althea astride Arceus or whatever the hell that fruity fuck is named.

Extra Information: Do you remember way back in the old days when Blue/Red/Yellow version was the new hottest game? Do you remember a girl in Cerulean city with a stubborn ass Slowbro? Let's just say that Billy is dedicated to that girl and her Slowbro.

Billy is absolutely ignorant in the most blissful way possible. He tries to think about things... he forgets. He tries to please Belle...he messes up. His absent minded disposition gives way to sporadic episodes of wisdom, often coming in the form of personal thoughts about why humans do certain things or what color the sky is.

Overall he's unaware of his stubborn nature; he unintentionally refuses to do the most basic things he's asked, usually because it takes him five minutes just to process the request, and then another five to attempt to carry it out.

Now, one might ask themself what would compel Belle to raise such a creature, and the simple answer is: she didn't have a choice. See, when she first joined Arachnos as a grunt, she possessed no pokémon of her own, and was assigned one by whoever recruited her. She swears he pulled Billy out just so he could get rid of the dumb thing, but to this day the man will argue that it was the only one left.
