Meaning: The first name Jayden is, etymologically, a corruption of the Hebrew 'Jadon', meaning 'Thankful'. Probably not even intentional when it was signed on his certificate, but it does tie in to the dominating gratitude that tends to cloud his otherwise sound judgement.

Eyes: Jayden has a dramatic case of heterochromia, with his right eye being a bright brown, nearly red, while the left is a contrasting blue. His right eye also has the further conditioning of central heterochromia, causing parts of the iris to be extremely dark, making spots appear around the pupil. They tend to unnerve people, and generally make it difficult for him to pretend he's not who he really is, but he's generally low key about the reaction they produce. He tends to have a sleepy, half lidded look to his eyes, as if the world is just about to grasp his interest, but isn't quite there yet.
Hair: Dark blue, but much less slippery and more malleable than his younger brothers'. Jayden generally wears it in the style seen above, parting it in a zigzag pattern down the top of his scalp, with a few tufts at the back of his head that can't be gelled down.
Skin: Fair skinned, and generally unblemished, save for the remnants of adolescent shoulder acne and the marks from reckless fraternizing with cigarette butts on his chest.
Clothes: His wardrobe is generally made up of modest comfortable clothing that he's collected for himself since he was old enough to shop for himself; as a result, especially when paired with his lackadaisacal method of picking his outfit in the morning, it's not difficult to catch him from day to day in fashions of five or six years prior, as well as conflicting tastes. His shirts tend to be practical, and as a rule he wears jeans. What makes him stand out are his vast collection of jackets and hoodies, as well as his impulsive accessorizing, with cuffs, bangles and studded little things that don't seem to really go with the cooler colors he wears.
Physique: Pretty unspectacular, in the sense that he visually doesn't stand out much at all in physique. He's looks taller than his is because of his thinness, his large hands and feet are camouflaged against long shirt and pant sleeves, and despite his metabolism, his love of sweets and take out diet make what should be a flat stomach sorta 'bounce' out whenever the clothes come off. No muscle lines to speak up, save for that pronounced against the thinness of his limbs.

Other: He's tattooed the initials "R.B." in tiny font on the his hip line in cursive, with a very manly miniscule heart; an ode to his little brother. Definitely not creepy.

Personality: Both on first impression and in general circumstances, Jayden's a pretty cool guy. Low key and adverse to excessive verbal or physical outburst, it is with a calm and docile demeanor that he carries himself. It's not that he's not excitable, on the contrary, he's easily impressed by even the smallest of things, taking a genuine interest in them, despite a initial analytical blank stare. It's with a soft smile that he greets the world, generally being kind and helpful to others, earnest and eager in his pursuit of of the daily halcyon. Always with a firm grip on his actions and emotions, Jayden rarely goes beyond the call of what's required, keeping his mannerism's just so. He generally never breaks out of this comforting mold, except for a major exception. His feelings are always in check, always keeping any potential caprice in his pants. Until his little brother walks by.

Everyone has one thing in this world precious to them, and for Jayden, that thing manifested itself in his little brother, Riley Breslin. Eleven years the boy's senior, Jayden plays the rare role of the loving and coddling older brother to a frightening extreme. His first priority is always Riley; everything comes second. There's just something about the kid that makes Jayden genuinely excited. More so than koala babies chasing their tails can. When Riley's around, Jayden loses his calm and becomes obsessed in his pursuit of the boy's acceptance. His adoration, though, doesn't border on obsession- it breaks all diplomatic negotiations, conquered it, and moved on into the realm of attraction and sick fetishism. Not one to settle for the unsettling, but still comedic, mild interactions with Riley, Jayden actively pursues Riley, constantly attempting to coerce the boy into a sick twisted incestuous relationship with him.

Under more regular circumstances (i.e. Riley not around), Jayden is still a bit unsettling to interact with. His mannerisms and way of addressing people border on mild flirtations, and he will almost always have the same odd smile on his face, no matter the situation. He's a fan of the morbid and ghastly, and enjoys making unsettling jokes and black comedy. Everyone's treated equally to be fair, but on the job, his nature plays in nicely with his talents. He loves to joke around, and there's something about the unsettling face people make at his comments that make him giggle. Not one to be upset or become impatient, Jayden goes about his life in a fittingly comfortable manner, forcing everything to slow down to his pace, and taking things steadily as they come. Or, in the case of Riley, by force.

Talents/Flaws: As befitting of Harbinger, Jayden is considerably talented at combat with his pokemon- the only problem being that this strength isn't his focus. As a result, he comes off as weaker than his fellow Harbingers in a straightforward sense. Because he doesn't spend time training his Pokémon, they tend to be weaker than one would expect from someone of his rank. This is offset somewhat by his command of them- it's by strategy that Jayden shows his true worth. He's overly reliant on deception and lying in his duties, attempting to overwhelm targets- objectively, any victory of his can be chalked up to the mistakes of someone else.
