Spoiler: click to toggle Eyes: Color? Do they scare people? Or are they full of hope and purity? There’s more to eyes than just color. Hair: Color, style? Do you wear it a certain way, huh? Skin: Skin color, tone? Got any blemishes, or are you silky smooth like a baby’s bottom? Clothes: …Heaven forbid you go around naked… If your character has multipule outfits, then maybe just their style? Physique: What’s your char’s body look like, shape wise? Athletic? Chubby? COLOSSAL MAN MOUNTAIN OF AWESOMENESS? Height: How tall is he? Weight How heavy is this char? Don’t mean to offend ladies… Other: Anything special about your appearance we should know? Scar from past battles? Foot-long eyelashes? Oooh…is your nose purple? This is anime and therefore pretty much guaranteed not to make sense, but let's try to avoid Terminators, human/Pokémon hybrids, blue skin, dark elves, and all that lovely bullshit.
¤ Other Info ¤
Spoiler: click to toggle Personality: How does your trainer act? Required and extremely important - biographies are useful for explaining a character's actions and motivations, but you and others need to know how your character acts and reacts. Don't skimp here - general behavior is good, and you can add how they walk, talk, situations they feel uncomfortable in, whatever else you want. You can even go as far as likes/dislikes, dreams (BUT NOT FUCKING Pokémon MASTER FFFFFFFUUUUUU), talents, and all those sorts of things that sort of fit in personality. Hell, for that matter, what's the difference in how they act with friends, enemies, and people they don't know? There are no absolute requirements as to what you have to put here except the character's general disposition and you don't have to actually use any of the examples I gave, but more detail is generally better.
Talents/Flaws: Anything your character is unusually good (or bad) at? Cooking? Fishing? Demolitions? You can only list combat competence or include other character-defining traits, but SO HELP ME GOD, if I just see a long list of how your character is unbeatable in single combat and not a single flaw, or even worse, the aforementioned long list and one or two crappy flaws that won't even really affect RPing...
Likes: S/he must like something - if not then there must be a really good reason why. "MY MOMMY BEAT ME AS A CHILD" is not a good reason why. Having a severe mental disorder probably isn't either, but you might be able to swing it with some research.
Dislikes: S/he must dislike something - if not then, then you may wish to re-evaluate your character. Hint: everyone dislikes something. EVERYONE. You can't have a damn character without at least a few dislikes.
Known Family: Any family that you might or might not have
Dream: What is your character’s goal in life? What drives them? Do they even have a dream? ("Pokémon Master" is so overdone I'm liable to deny the reg the instant I see it, so if you absolutely must put something to that effect, try to be smart about it.)
¤ Battle Info ¤
Spoiler: click to toggle Fighting Style: Describe your general fighting style, and try to be as descriptive as you can. This will be very valuable, not only for you, but for other people if they want to get a general feel about how your character acts in battle. You can include your individual Pokemons' fighting style, your character's, or any combination of the two, but try to give a decent overview. Tactics, reactions, whatever. Optional section, but recommended if ever plan on fighting. Proficiency: Each character can pick one (permanent) proficiency at creation, chosen from the four better detailed in this post. It's a permanent decision, but they're all useful and don't have TOO drastic effects, and therefore won't have nearly as much effect as heavily-upgraded team bonii.
¤ Biography ¤
Spoiler: click to toggle Biography: Not strictly required, but we do recommend that you fill one out at some point. One entirely valid approach is to start with essentially a blank slate and fill it in as you RP, but you're welcome to start out with a 400-paragraph monstrosity or a token three sentence explanation of why they can't remember anything thanks to a tragic accident involving a zebra and a midget two hours before you mysteriously landed in Althea astride Arceus or whatever the hell that fruity fuck is named.
¤ Roleplay Sample ¤
Spoiler: click to toggle This is pretty much the most important part of the registration except for personality, so find a really good post. It doesn't have to be about this character and there is no absolute minimum, but if there wasn't a fair bit of effort put into it, it's going to get denied pretty damn fast.
¤ Pokémon ¤
Spoiler: click to toggle Species: Psyduck Statistics: 10 HP 2 Atk 0 Def 3 SpAtk 0 Sp.Def 1 Speed
Moves: Water Gun (3), Confusion(6), Fury Swipes(4). Extra Information: Optional, but recommended. Basically, this is the place you lay out the Pokémon's history, personality, and the like. You don't have to and you won't get denied if you don't, but it can be helpful to at least lay out each Pokémon's personality so you can RP them better.
