"We're to meet just outside of city limits; rendezvous at the location I've designated through the positioning system in no longer than ten minutes. We're behind schedule and the other squad has already dispatched."

Travis severed the radio connection after sending out the orders. He scoffed and threw his head back, eyes staring into the overcast sky above. The situation at hand couldn't have been any worse, and, due to the shortage of available operatives, there was a good chance he was going to be working with grunts, despite the severity and importance of the mission. Taking a moment to review what he had just determined, he decisively let go of the harbored feelings and picked his head up. It couldn't be too bad - and if anything did happen, he would be there. And, of course, if you knew the first thing about Travis, that thought was all he needed to reassure himself.

This island of Althea was already beginning to become a burden on Travis; he had sacrificed what he had back at home to, hopefully, find a new path through the Arachnos forces. Instead, he got a downed air unit, a lack of supplies and a lack of operatives to work with. Then, as if things weren't already going downhill, there was a damned group already inhabiting the island...crawling with God knows what; hell, Travis could have been leading his squad into the very jaws of this Black Rose without knowing it...another reason he was displeased with the preparation efforts of the Arachnos leaders. Of course, if Travis had been leading the charge - none of this would have even come close to occurring.

Deciding to keep his mind off things instead of making matters worse within his own psyche, he drew his headset closer to his mouth so that he could urge his subordinates to meet with him as soon as humanly possible. The thought of getting this mission done and over with, with no problems whatsoever, was a good one - and he planned on doing just that. God help whoever fucks with his picture-perfect execution of said plan...

"Let's go. Five minutes and counting..."

OOC: Don't mind the shitty post; just RP getting to the rendezvous point so we can start this mission. Hopefully, we'll have some fun along the way =D
((OOC: I fixed some of your tenses, so this post's "shittiness" should now be at least partially lessened. <3))

Ancelin walked up to where Travis was standing, his cool, semi-dark presence making itself known to Travis to reassure him. This was because Ancelin was, indeed, a fellow Harbinger, something he had no doubt Travis would know, and that would calm Travis’s nerves at least a little, assuming he might have been stressed. Ancelin was only able to assume this, as he would have been stressed in this position. To be honest, he was a little stressed either way, as, even with two Harbingers on the job, this was going to be a pain-in-the-ass mission. Still, Ancelin wasn’t one to back down, and he had full faith that this mission would go just as it was supposed to.

“Good day. Ancelin Varden, Harbinger, reporting.”

Ancelin spoke in a rather calm voice. It was just something he always seemed to do, something he had almost trained himself to do without really trying to on purpose. He wore standard Harbinger operative wear today, as this was a mission, and he wanted to be dressed as appropriately as possible for it. Ancelin also had his partner, Hades, out. The Gastly floated around Ancelin, invisible to the eye, protecting him in silence. Most wouldn’t even notice, but Ancelin didn’t expect everyone to be so naive as to not feel any kind of presence floating around. Travis, who owned a Haunter, would be the most likely to realize. In his other Pokéball was his strongest and most dangerous Pokémon, an Aerodactyl named Coelus. It wasn't a Pokémon that most had ever seen.

Ancelin began to look around slightly, to see anyone else in the area who would be their comrades for this mission. He moved to take a cigarette from his pocket and light it. As of now, smoking would in no way effect the mission, and, besides that, it felt just too good to pass up his opportunity to smoke. With the smoke in his mouth, and the place scoped out, he turned back to Travis. A soft cloud of smoke poured into the air around him as he exhaled before speaking.

“What would you have me do?”

Ancelin was adept at this, and knew whom he was taking orders from. He didn’t question it for a second, or put up any fight. He was a professional, after all, and knew that, although he was a Harbinger, he was not the leader this time around.

Now was her chance to shine. As she received the orders through her own headset, she instantly departed, snapping her fingers in quick succession at her Zangoose, Mauvain.

"Hey, let's go; we have work to do."

Outside the small café she had decided to take a quick break in, clouds hung thick and ominous in the sky. Couple that with the already-shitty place Exire was, and you had one depressing scene. Regardless, she and her partner raced down the city's streets, jumping over large puddles in alleys, and generally just thinking about the nature of this mission she was enrolled in.

Actually, she really didn't know much about it, just small bits of something about another organization running rampant around the island, and a supposedly-abandoned warehouse. She didn't have much more time to think about this, though, for she arrived at the rendezvous point in a few short minutes.

Sidling up to the squad beginning to form, she made herself known.

"Coeurla DeFroid reporting, sir!" she cheered eerily. She knew this was going to be good, albeit dangerous. She surveyed the area, seeing two Harbringers congregating. Just great, if she was the only Grunt on this mission...no matter. Maybe getting to know her higher-ups would be a good thing.

Picking the two Pokéballs off of the belt, and clicking the button simultaneously I released Aerodactyl and Gastly. The queen screamed a horrific, high-pitched banshee scream, and took off towards the overcast sky. Following my every step, she flew ahead to make sure there was no impending danger. As for Gastly, he hasn’t been used much, and, being so young, stuck by my side. This world was new to him and pretty much scary.
Listening to the message and following the coordinates accordingly led me straight to three unknown people. Two older males, and a female about my age. None of them I could trust, just by the look of them. But who could blame me? I was in a group known for their thievery; could I really trust anybody? Looking at all of them, I took it as a male-run mission, as any REAL organization could be run. As I slowly approached the group, I looked up and nodded to each of the males and smiled slightly to the female. Finally stopping just short of the group, I introduced myself…

“Jake Schade, reporting….

…let’s fuck some shit up.”
I added just under my breath.

sorry for the post of shitness.

It didn't take long at all for Travis's squad to meet up with him; to his pleasant surprise, they weren't half-bad recruits, either. His initial thought of having to endure a mission with lowly grunts was immediately made less of a factor when he noticed that another Harbinger would be joining him, making it a rather competent squad no matter what the other two were ranked. It also helped that the said operative was Ancelin, and not someone that Travis wasn't familiar with. He greeted the man as he finished speaking, at least a tad bit grateful he was joining him.

"Nice to have you accounted for."
Travis replied, making it clear through his voice that he was pleased with what the Executive gave him to work with. "We'll just wait on the other two operatives; I'll have you be my right-hand man...you'll most likely be the most experienced of the three to join me in this mission." He caught himself, and thought it necessary to officially introduce himself. "I'm Travis Anderson; I'm sure we've heard of each other on paper, but it's nice to officially get to meet you." Satisfied with what he had to say, he turned slightly to his left, only to meet the gaze of yet another operative.

"Coeurla DeFroid reporting, sir!"

It was an enthusiastic greeting, something that could have been extremely good for the team, or just as harmful. Travis, himself, didn't know what to make of it, but he took his chances, and let it off without much acknowledgment. He didn't do much but nod her way; it was a welcoming, non-threatening nod at that. He didn't want to come off as the typically stiff Harbinger, but he sure as hell didn't want to be taken advantage of. He was in the position for a reason....Not but a couple seconds after the arrival of Coeurla, however, Travis heard the screeching sounds of what seemed to be an airborne Pokémon - immediately following was the voice of the last and final operative to join in on the fun: Jake Schade.

"Good, good. We're all here and present." Travis let out, making sure that all three heard his voice. "I've briefed you on the mission earlier today, so I trust you won't be needing further intel. As you know, we're all equipped with headsets dedicated to a unique frequency, allowing us short ranged communication when necessary." He took a moment to bring his arm forward, pointing past the group, triggering a few heads to follow the gesture. "We'll be headed Southeast of our current position, penetrating through Exire until we reach our target. If we happen to run into any unfriendlies...we'll have to detour, depending on the situation. We need to complete the mission as quickly as possible, and hopefully we'll do just that."

Travis paused, taking a moment for the commands to sink into the consciousness of his squad members. "If you're all ready, we can begin by-"

Suddenly, a deep silence overtook the vicinity - only to be overwhelmed by a piercing sound seconds later. It was a head-on explosion, not but a mile or two away, and the sheer force of the discharge was enough to shake the very foundation that Travis was standing on. He stumbled before he took hold of his footing, just in time to turn in the direction of the disruption. He caught the glowing flames and jet black smoke flirting with each other off in the distance, and he was temporarily paralyzed by the initial shock.

Travis immediately rose to his feet, flipping a switch on the gadget lodged in his ear, trying to contact anybody within range who had a clue of what in the hell was happening. "Harbinger Anderson; what in the hell was that about?" No answer. "Harbinger Anderson; do we have any intel on what just happened?" No answer. By this point, Travis was beginning to become agitated...until he remembered who was running the sister mission.

"Of course...Clothos must have charged the downed air units; we can't risk our tech falling into the hands of the Black Rose....The place will be swarming with armed forces though, including law enforcement and Black Rose operatives..." Travis stopped, chuckling at his naivety. "It's a distraction - any potential resistance we'll face will converge on the explosion, giving us an open path. I can't believe I didn't see this from the get-go. We'll have to detour; our initial route will be littered by pedestrians and vigilantes. We'll take a backdoor cut - let's go."

Travis turned, taking a few steps towards the back of the parking lot they were stationed at, and, without waiting for the others, hopped a harmless four foot gate into the back alleys of the city. "Let's go!" He called back as he broke out into a sprint.

OOC: In case you don't know what's going on, there was/will be an explosion detonated by Munch in "Hell March" and we've decided to link the event in both missions.

So far, so good. She could have done without the subtle insult the other grunt veiled with his smirk, but, nonetheless, her upbeat start seemed to be welcomed by the Habinger leading the operation. He seemed nice enough, although, considering what they were about to undergo, surely 'niceness' wouldn't stay.

Among those whose heads turned, Coeurla looked behind her, at Exire. From outside the city, one could really begin to appreciate the gloom and dismal cheer the tainted metropolis presented itself with. Her admiration didn't last long, however, as even her leader's instructions were cut off. Everyone seemed to wobble as an explosion rang out in the distance, followed by a plume of smoke and flame. Mauvain's ears perked up as he sniffed the air; apparently he could smell the smoke lingering, even from the distance they were at.

When everyone had regained their composure, Coeurla looked back toward Travis, who fumbled with his headset trying to contact someone. He seemed to know what was going on after a while, though, and, in a few words, he had given them a new plan. She sighed....detours weren't something she cared for. As Travis and the rest of the squad began to move, she motioned for Mauvain to follow as she broke into a sprint.

Here we go, she thought.

edit: (OOC: Just assume she jumped the fence, I'm too lazy to add it.)

“Did he just say Black Rose?” I thought to myself while standing there watching Travis talk into the earpiece, made him think about where he had heard this name before. Wasn’t Mia in Black Rose back in Tohea….no…that’s nonsense…she was a native to Tohea…there could be no possible way she could have migrated to Althea…no it couldn’t be her. She was a powerful being that…wasn’t going to go down easy, especially with this group here. I wasn’t really listening to him talk in the headset, as these things were so hard to concentrate and do things at the same time. Tuning his voice out in my ear, my focus went to his facial expressions as he attempted to contact someone over the feed line.

From sorta serious, to serious it seemed like something was going on. Watching him bolt through the alley, it seemed like it was time to shine. With Aerodactyl up above, I nodded to him, pointed a finger at her then to my eye…which was our way of communicating to watch my back. Looking at the rest of the group, I smiled. “Looks like its time to kick some shit…just keep up okay?” I said chuckling at the end before taking off to catch up with Travis who was already a good distance ahead of us.

Coming up to the fence, instead of trying to climb it, I would try and show off…cause I thought why not. Getting near, I planted my hands on the cross beam and mounted over with ease, however, just my luck, the opening of my shorts at the leg caught on the fence, and I toppled over it looking like a jack ass. Quickly getting up and trying not to make it look that obvious, I again broke out with speed, trying to catch up with Travis. Pressing the button on the headset, I began to communicate with the rest of the group.

“Travis…if I may…want me to signal Aerodactyl ahead to see what’s going on?” I said calmly, acting like I had the slightest clue of what was going on…

Hades felt the explosion first, seeing as it was a ghost and mostly made of gas. Quickly it made a move to brace Ancelin with its psychic ability. Ancelin could feel the brace happen not a second before the explosion rocked the landscape. Normally, Ancelin might have fallen from the shaking, but the quick actions of Hades helped him keep enough balance to have moved around very little. Still, the explosion caused Ancelin to grunt softly and turn to Travis who was now trying to get contact in the radio.

Ancelin took a long hard puff from his cigarette before tossing it aside. He exhaled the smoke he had just took in causing a much larger cloud of grey smoke to fill the air around him. Ancelin moved to follow Travis as he talked about the new idea. Ancelin heard the new recruit with similar Pokémon to his ask for the Aero to scout ahead.

“I think it would be best if we both use our Gastly to do so. They can become unseen to the eye, and should provide much better scouts.”

Ancelin didn’t send Hades ahead yet, but he readied himself to do so. With scouts up ahead of them danger would be a little less dangerous. It was Travis’ mission however, so Ancelin let Travis decide what was best for the team.

"Aerodactyl is a no-go. Actually, I'd prefer if you recalled him. If anyone spots a giant pterodactyl flying through the air, they'll become at least a bit suspicious which could in turn blow our cover and ruin the mission." Travis replied to Jake. "So, yeah...Using your Gastly's would be a better option. They could alert us of any unfriendlies well before we physically run into them, which could provide a cushion to lean on. Once they're out, just follow me through the alleys until they find an opening." Travis finished his instructions through the headset, hoping that the three behind him understood.

He continued pushing forwards, his legs taking large strides through the riddling avenues. There were countless articles of objects scattered on the ground; cans, paper, trash bags, etc. and it made it a bit harder than aimlessly running about. That's not mentioning the occasional blocked path or gate that they had to get around, further complicating the process. Though, it'd have to do for now as they waited for the commotion on the main-streets to settle.

He rose his arm closer to his core so that he could access his linked G.P.S. With the push of a few buttons, he had the satellite calculate an alternate route towards the warehouse so that they could avoid as many problems as possible. It took a few seconds for the computer to analyze the situation and plan accordingly, but it provided a path that curled through a few more alleys before finally breaking out into the city and towards an old, neglected park where the underground warehouse would be.

He connected to the others' positioning systems and sent them the new route, so that, in the case that one of them would be separated from the group, whether by an unforced error or otherwise, they could find their way back without too much trouble. Travis made a sharp turn, and bolted into yet another series of back lots. "I've sent you guys a copy of the new route; your system should alert you upon arrival. Try your best to keep close, but if for any reason you should happen to separate yourself from the group, you can use that as a guide."

We're getting close. Travis thought to himself; he was becoming anxious and wanted nothing more than to finish the job. He ran into a dead-end; pacing himself by taking a few steps back, he leaped onto the surface of a dumpster, only to use that as a catalyst into the fire escape of a nearby building. He effortlessly cleared the seven yards in a matter of seconds, and jumped off the platform and into the heart of another alley - this one being one of the last before reaching the opening into the city. It looked as if the countless months spent in the Team Rocket's training modules during his grunt days paid off...

He just hoped the rest of his squad received the same training.

OMG long post.

Calculating New Route…. The gps blurted out as I glanced down to watch the arrow that was going straight, turn several directions, disappear in which I guess was buildings only to reappear each time turning in more directions. Slowing down to look up at Aerodactyl, which was flying above I stuck up a hand up to the air, then quickly plunged it back down to the ground, in which Aero responded, by tucking her giant wings back against her body only to nose dive. Quickly taking out her ball, the red laser fired out and caught her, only to materialize her back into the ball. With that all done, I looked over at Gastly who nodded at me only to float faster than I ran. We both were trying hard to catch up to the rest of the group…which was now detouring around the dead end.

“Ancelin, I’m sending my Gastly to meet up with you. She is a youngster, so I want her to follow yours carefully. You give her the orders that you feel would suit her the best.” I said as Gastly responded to what I said, and went to find Ancelin…He knew what would be best with scouting. He was a higher rank and obviously knew how to handle his Pokémon better than I did…at least with Gastly.

Finally picking up the pace, I raced through the alleys that the GPS had made through for us, but something seemed wrong. I knew I was obviously the last one to get going because of my trip up at the fence, but I knew I was faster than at least one of them…so why weren’t there anyone here? Meeting a dead end, the GPS continued to repeat the same annoying words…

Make a Left and turn back around….Make a left and turn back around… It blurted out in that annoying male monotone voice. Looking down at it, the dashed line that represented the path broke up in two possible directions, one went to the left, of course and one went straight and then to the right… It seemed that this detour would be a little bit more difficult than I once had thought…

“Come on Jake think of your training…use your surroundings and use the path less traveled…there has to be another way…think… I said to myself looking at what was around me. Surrounding me was a giant brick wall that the alley had led me to. On either side of me were multi level warehouses, with fire escapes…which meant a ladder system. Looking up, there was a rusty ladder connected to just that, a fire escape that scaled the side of the building. A good 8 feet above my head…at least, I would need a boost. With no trash dispensers around me, and all but one lonely aluminum trash can at the right corner of the dead end, it looked like I was going to have to try and scale this wall.

Great… I muttered to myself.

Backing up to the wall that was to my left, I ran at the opposing wall and leaped up, with my feet touching it, I jumped off of it, and aimed at the wall in front of me. With my left foot spreading out a bit, I pounced off the front wall and went back to the right wall. Repeating the process as fast as I possibly could, I cleared a good 8 feet off the ground only to loose steam just short of the last foot step of the ladder, and fell back to the ground….crashing through the trash can.

“FUCK!” I screamed out in pain, forgetting that my earpiece was still on at the time of the crash, I rolled over onto my stomach. Now face down on what most likely was a disease-cesspool ground, I pushed myself back up to my feet to catch my breath. Brushing myself off slowly, and stiff from pain, I bit down hard and attempted the feet again. Learning from my mistakes, I jumped up higher on the initial push off and cleared the wall, grabbing the fire escape with ease.

“HA! Fuck you ground!” I hollered out loud, once again forgetting the earpiece was on, and climbed up the ladder, reaching the platform. Quickly I began to process my surroundings. It seemed that the wall that blocked my path was the side of yet another building. The roof which seemed to end only a few feet above the platform that I was standing on, obviously would have to have another fire escape…as its another multi-level building.

Racing up the fire escape, running up every 2 steps, I got to a level above the roof, and perched myself up against the railing, and jumped. Tuck and roll remember. I told myself as for a moment seemed that I was flying. As I hit the roof, my legs buckled and I somersaulted easing the blow that my body would have to take. Scurrying back over to the edge of the roof, I began looking for a ladder system that would take me back down to the alley below.

Use the nearest exit and proceed left The GPS blurted out as I grinded my teeth in anger, quickly getting angry. “I know…” I responded back, as the GSP continued to talk… Use the nearest exit and proceed left “ I AM FUCKING WORKING ON THAT! I blurted out at my wrist watch thinking it would respond back to me. In which it remained silent.
Continuing to span the top of the roof, I noticed the building adjacent to it would soon end which opened up into town…finally finding a fire escape/climbing ladder near the end…I slowed down and crouched down…not knowing what was ahead of me. Before I descended I had to contact the rest of the group, to make sure if they could locate me…

“Travis this is Jake Schade…I took bit of a detour, and am on a building that is facing town…I need a location on you guys to make sure this is a safe alley to jump into……Over…” I asked in a calm voice….was the over really necessary? Probably not….oh well.

Couerla easily kept up with Travis, using Mauvain as a sort of homing chip, taking rather large strides herself. Her long legs were very useful in situations like these.

After receiving the new route on her GPS, which beeped lightly as the information registered, she came to an abrupt halt. Travis had disappeared into a building through a fire escape; quite a display if she'd ever seen one. It seemed this was the only way to get any farther though, and that she would have to mirror his movements if she had any hope of keeping up. She shooed Mauvain up into the fire escape, him easily jumping onto the dumpster with cat like reflexes and scampering through on all fours.

She wasn't near as strong as Travis, she was quite sure of it. She couldn't just jump onto the dumpster, so slightly disgusted by the pungent smell of old garbage, she pulled herself onto the dumpster slowly, swinging her bare legs over the top. Getting into the fire escape was a little easier, and keeping an eye on Mauvain, who's keen sense of smell was keeping track of Travis, she arrived in the alley.

Wiping a droplet of sweat that had begun to trickle down her forehead with her sleeve, she continued to adjust her ponytail and let out a quiet sigh. She didn't want make a big scene afterall, she already felt alienated enough as it was being the only girl and all. She looked around. It seemed that one her cohorts had dissappeared, the one that smirked at her earlier. Whatever.

“Travis this is Jake Schade…I took bit of a detour, and am on a building that is facing town…I need a location on you guys to make sure this is a safe alley to jump into……Over…” His voice sounded over her headset. She had actually turned it down just a few moments ago, his incessant swearing was pissing her off.

Tch, she muttered under her breath, way to get lost. She didn't really feel the need to instruct him however, so...she didn't. Instead, she patted Mauvain's head gently for helping her keep up, and watched to see Travis' reaction.

Ancelin watched as the young Gastly flew around to follow him. He watched it disappear assuming Hades was giving it orders to do so and follow him. If Jake wanted his Gastly in good hands then Ancelin could at least reassure him of that. Hades wasn’t very strong yet, but Ancelin was adept at using ghost Pokémon to their fullest. The two ghost trailed ahead to keep look out for anything that might be dangerous.

Ancelin continued to move to the next point now. He chose to stay on ground, moving to follow the directions as easily as possible. He ran but kept his pace to make sure not to draw any attention to himself. The GPS instructions were simple enough for him, and as long as he kept a good sense for both any warnings from Hades and the other Gastly he was fine.

When he came to the area where Travis had made his jump, he quickly gave a small order to Hades who he knew was at least nearby someplace.

“Hades, I need to clear this jump. Your assistance is required.”

Ancelin moved to make the jump now as well, though he wasn’t as agile as Travis and normally wouldn’t have been able to make it as smoothly. Hades however stepped in with its psychic ability using it on him to push him up as well. Alone psychic couldn’t lift Ancelin for shit, but as it was only being used to help him make his jump better, it was just enough of an extra push to clear the distance he needed. Ancelin continued to make it to the destination from there. Hades again moving to take scout.

With his quick thinking and use of his Pokémon in strategic ways Ancelin knew getting to the location was going to be no problem. The only problem right now was that no matter how strategic and well thought out he could do anything, there was still a high chance things could just be too strong or powerful for any amount of strategy to defeat. A small army of black rose for example could easily take out this squad. Right now, he had to not think about how many black rose there were or what they had planned. The mission was still on.

Travis' breath started to become labored; shorter and much more shallow. He'd been running along with his squad for about five minutes now, and the constant obstacles that he had to overcome were physically taxing. He continued to push, however. He was nowhere near exhaustion but it was becoming a bit uncomfortable. The wind pressed against his face; the humid weather rested on his conscience and weighed him down. It became rather apparent that he hasn't engaged in such a sprint in a while, even the way he carried himself was beginning to become awkward. The more he thought about, the more aware he became of his form...his inner perfectionist was ready to surface - ready to scold Travis for setting such a horrible example and-

Shit.
A foreign cry interrupted his train of thought and intercepted his thoughts. Travis managed to pick up the voice of one of his subordinates, and decidedly paid attention to his plea. "Travis this is Jake Schade…I took bit of a detour, and am on a building that is facing town…I need a location on you guys to make sure this is a safe alley to jump into……Over…" The headset clouded Travis' ear with static before completing the transmission.

We don't have time for detours - we can miss our opportunity to rush the main-street!
Travis clenched his teeth as he thought of the consequences of taking too much time. He quickly changed his state of mind - there was no use in fighting the situation, and scolding the grunt wouldn't do anything but waste more time. Taking a hold of his GPS once again, he sought the location of Jake. After a while of searching, the gadget was able to spot the operative - Travis now had to scan the area for-

Travis came to a running stop; there was yet another distraction. This time, a much more serious one...The sounds of sirens entered the vicinity, and they were coming dangerously close to where the group was currently at. Given the severity of the explosion that took place not five minutes ago, the police wouldn't be willing to let go a couple of pedestrians blasting through the streets: anybody within a mile radius was a potential suspect, witness or conspirator.

He took another listen, this time a bit more calm - a bit more tolerant of the happenings around him. He could hear nothing but his heavy breathing for a few seconds, but the sirens became heard once again. From what he could tell, there were three cruisers, all within fifty or so yards, scouting the neighborhood. It wasn't good, but it wasn't as serious as he first figured. The site of the explosion was still a good distance away, and the cruisers would have to converge there anyways...it was just a matter of when, and how long they could realistically wait for.

"We've got company: we either charge for the park now with the given route and hopefully bypass the cruisers, or wait it out here and risk losing our distraction..." Travis radioed to all three before taking a few steps back. Turning around, he began walking from where he came, slowly...indecisively. He stopped pacing and looked up. "We go now." He stated, without waiting for the opinions of the others. "Take a look at your GPS; I'm sending a headstrong path directly through a clearing - get to the park as soon as you possibly can. We can't be seen."

He killed the connection. A few seconds passed; a new route was uploaded into the system, and it didn't take long for Travis to bolt towards the main street.

OOC: Each member has been given a route catered to their current location; each one leads to the same point in the park. The park, fyi, isn't a playground sort of park, just in case that's what anyone had in mind >_> It's more of a field, decorated with a few bushes and a thick wood towards the back. You know, places where people hike/picnic, etc.

Ah fuck, cops.

So much for charging through Exire. She looked to Travis up ahead, he looked irritated and uncomfortable. Surely she flt similar if not worse, she hadn't done much of this acrobatic buisness, and the tropical climate wasn't helping. To make matters worse, the damn police were just around the corner, their sirens blaring. But, of course, this proved to be of little consequence to their plan. Even though they'd have to be extremly careful, it would be easy enough. All she had to do was run.

"Take a look at your GPS; I'm sending a headstrong path directly through a clearing - get to the park as soon as you possibly can. We can't be seen."

...she didn't reply.

Beep!

Coeurla's GPS flashed the new route. It was probably surprisingly similar to Travis', considering she was pretty much right behind him. Nonetheless, she knew would she have to tread with caution, police roaming the streets did not bode well. Adjusting her ponytail one more time, she darted from the alley, Mauvain at her heels.

The two of them careered behind Travis, following him the best they could. She had to keep him in her line of sight...she had to push herself. Perspiration poured from her skin by the bucket, her legs burned with intensity, her mind focused on one goal. She picked up speed, letting herself be taken by the pain, no longer caring what her limbs felt.

The only thing that could stop her was the police, and even then, she was moving so fast across the screen of her GPS, the park was becoming closer by the second, the droning of the police sirens growing distant as they sped away in the direction of the explosion.

Fuck Yeah
Ancelin wasn't very pleased when he heard the sirens. This was going to be a pain in the ass if they planned to get involved, but Ancelin was careful about how he went about things. He had two Gastly's scouting out the area for him right now, which would also help the others as well. Though the others didn't seem to be using them as much as he was, but he supposed that was just from his regular reliance on Hades, and his normal love for the ghost type. Ancelin just had to keep his cool a little bit longer.

That was when Ancelin noticed Hades floating back to him. The ghost appeared directly in front of his eyes using hypnosis to implant images into his head. Ancelin could for a second see what Hades had seen. A woman was walking within dangerously close distance of him right now, and if she saw him, or his team it would give a witness for the police to use. Normally, Ancelin wouldn’t have cared, knowing he could very easily sneak past her without her seeing anything, but with the grunts around he didn’t plan on letting a witness be around to catch any of them. She was right within the path of where the operatives needed to pass.

There is a saying, wrong place at the wrong time…

Ancelin moved into the alleyway where the woman was soon passing. Hades moved to help Ancelin, letting Jakes Gastly continue to scout around for them. Ancelin moved quietly into a hidden position as the woman walked past looking around the area. She seemed suspicious of everything around her, meaning she was really on the lookout, not that she was to be blamed, after all an explosion had just gone off. Still, it would only further the need to have her silenced, and now was the time.

Ancelin moved out from behind the dumpster where he was crouched just as Hades released enough of a psychic blast to cause the woman to stumble in Ancelin’s direction. Without a moment to waist Ancelin moved to place his left arm around the woman’s neck, and his right arm covering her mouth so she couldn’t make a noise. She seemed to panic right away making muffled screams that no one would ever hear as Ancelin pulled her back a little farther into the shadows. He spoke softly to her as Hades moved in closer to the woman.

“Shh… Don’t fear. Everything will be alright. You have nothing to worry about ok?”

His voice was smooth and dark, the charm and charisma he had showing as he was able to make even this woman who was terrified slow her screams and frantic movements. Though, there was only so much you could do when you had someone in a hold like he did, but that was why the lack of oxygen she was now getting came in handy. Hades appeared in front of her smiling and dancing around then causing her to get a little more worked up, only to be calmed again as Ancelin tightened his grip. Hades moved to slip his gaseous form into her nostrils, an act that would have made her really freak out if she was getting the right amount of air. Her body was already feeling weaker now however and the fight was slowly leaving her.

“Sleep dear… You’re tired. I understand. This world is but a dream to you now… Sleep…”

Ancelin’s words became hypnotic as the poison of Hades and the lack of oxygen affected her brain. She stopped her muffled screams and her movements as she felt her eyes get heavy. She didn’t even realize she was dying, rather she only felt extremely tired. She closed her eyes and passed away a few seconds later, leaving Ancelin holding what was now a lifeless corpse. Hades would slip back out from her lungs a second later to disappear and continue its work as a scout. Ancelin moved to gently place the body behind the dumpster where he once hid. No one would find this woman for a good while, and now they didn’t have to worry about a witness.

Ancelin moved back into the now clear area raising his hand to turn on his communicator for the others to receive the good news.

“Area around my position is secured for crossing, should allow anyone nearby to get to the park easily.”

Ancelin then moved forward heading to the location set on the GPS. It would be smooth sailing form her for him. When he met up at the location with Travis and the woman who was keeping up fairly well. Hopefully Jake would take the opportunity to use the now slightly more clear route that Ancelin had provided. At the very least, there was one less witness on the streets.
