"Strong Pokemon, weak Pokemon. That is only the selfish perception of people. Truly skilled trainers win with their favorites" - Karen, E4

New Haven
A pragmatic name for a literal haven. New Haven is the only area in the city that is left unaffected by the gradual changes and fluid movement that so often changes the rest of the city, and with humanity having lost control of the rest of the city, the only safe area in the city at night. Home to all of what passes for civilization in the city, New Haven is constantly jam-packed with trainers, Pokemon both tame and occasionally wild, and constant frenzied activity as trainers buy, sell, and otherwise prepare for each day.
Pokemon battling is strictly prohibited in New Haven. Zero tolerance policy in effect. Moderated By: Arbiter |

Trail of the Bygone
Judging solely on appearances, this particular few dozen blocks of the city must have been a bustling area; small shops of all descriptions litter the edges of broken streets, interspersed with tenement houses and gas streetlights, it almost gives off the impression of having been the - a? - "old town" area, an anachronism cut off from the flow of time. And yet, unlike much of the rest of the city, massive infrastructure damage is obvious - walls have collapsed, revealing the gaping maws of the buildings they once helped hold up, and the streets are littered with blasted cement and pulped stones. A great struggle occurred once, here - and yet no absolute evidence of what exactly happened can be found.
But history does have a habit of repeating itself, sometimes at the most inopportune times... Moderated By: Arbiter |
